All,
It seems that the WM6 problems are getting lost in the 36+ pages of the other thread.
I thought it would be appropriate to start a new thread to address the problems and answers that members might be facing.
Here are a couple to start with (most of which are TrueVGA related):
1.) Phone Pad is oversized in VGA mode without using other tools like vjbigphone or others. Smart dialer is off the top of the screen and incomming calls is partially below the edge of the screen on the bottom.
2.) Smart dialer is not consistent in its functionality.
3.) Successive flashes of the 2nd downloadable ROM seem to leave artifactes of older images which seems to create compounded legacy problems.
4.) ICON's don't always show up in VGA mode.
5.) Spb MobileShell doesn't work / Locks up in VGA mode.
6.) OzVGA locks up the device in either mode.
7.) MvrTrueVGA v1.3 works most of the time, but sometimes errors out and refuses to change (QVGA/VGA) modes.
8.) On occasion the integrated caller history doesn't show allow interaction with the contacts, as it should.
This is my list of concerns at the moment, if anyone has resolved these issues or found a way to not have them in the first place, let me know.
Thanks...
