I've tried programs like nodata, but they wont run correctly for some reason. Whats the easiest way to disable gprs so I won't get charged an insane amount when I accidently dont connect to wifi.

The easiest way is to set up a new connection with settings that don't exist -- such as:

Name of Connection -- "WiFi"
APN -- "home'
Username -- "HOME"
Password -- "HOME"

Don't set any proxy service or enter any DNS info. Before switching on the WiFi, go into the Connections and switch to your fake network. Exit out and turn on WiFi.

Odd. Nodata worked for me. At any rate, the best way to ensure no added charge if you do not have a data plan is to call and block that service to your phone. I did it for all four phones on my family plan.
