Hi all,
since I bought my trinity I have noticed something really weird and not too cool about this device :
It takes ages to actually start ringing or displaying the call when someone does, I mean, it takes 6 seconds to react which means 6 seconds less to get the phone before the caller gets on my answering machine. I find this totally shi*** plus, it has been doing the same on every ROM I've tried, do you guys experience the same thing or is it just my phone ?
Running latest faman release with latest radio
Thanks !

You are right, it is a bit slow to answer depending on its state. If the phone hasn't been used since a soft reset, that slows it down. If the phone is in standby, it is slower than if it is awake. I find that when my phone is in standby, it takes from 1 to 2 rings to start ringing on the phone, lag also depends on the provider.
One thing that you can do is to go into start/settings/phone/services/call forwarding, and change the time that the phone diverts to voicemail. Personally, I have mine set on 30 seconds, since it usually takes me ages to get to my phone when it's in my backpack.

you could also search the threads for the phoneboost cab by axel, dont install it as it is only for WM5 but, in the thread he explains how to shorten via registry hack the time the phone answers calls, it helped me with the same issue... tell me if you cant find it, i have it somewhere in another site too...
good luck
