Perhaps someone could enlighten us to the differences as this ROM seems to be the best and most stable compared to the all other Roms including Dopod D810 Official Roms posted recently.

Also, as a suggestion to mods it would also be nice if the Rom WIKI page was the place where everyone posted ROM updates / links so this list is more frequently updated - perhaps pinning the list at the start of this forum as PDAVIET does instead of having to scroll through the forum.

I'm using Opera Mini 3.1.2 High memory version, and it just works without any crash. Maybe in the previus pdaviet release it was a bit faster, but I can't be sure because it depends also on the network I'm actually connected to.

Check the security settings of Esmertec, tapping on the applet and allowing network access without confirmation.

If you go to operamini.com, does the site recognize your phone? It didnt work here, so i think i have a 'global' version installed that works for most phones.

After a reset my trinity stuck on windows startup screen.
I think it's related to the new Kaiser HomePlug.

Yes, you need one of the HTC_Default themes in the ROM - not the Windows Default. I in fact love the seablue/green - with the black "vista" background on today screen and the HTC Homeplug. it's not the boring blue - the colour brightens it up a bit - without the HTC vomit green:D

Don't do it. As to me there is something wrong related to the new kayser homeplug and the contact customization.
Try to keep the device running until a solution came out, maybe a dll renaming or something else....

Guys, I need some urgent help please. I know newbs always irritate the living daylights out of the regulars on this most helpful forum by not searching archives or not reading even when pointed to resources containing solutions. I always try to read up on any issue before asking for help but right now I am in a bit of a tight spot - leaving on vacation tomorrow and have absolutely no time to do proper research while my Trinity remains a brick I am unable to revive.

I've been running mUn's WM6 ROM for about a month and had zero problems with it. Today I decided to try out the PDAVIET .09 ROM and flashed with no issues. Played with it for a bit, decided it was cool but I preferred to go back to mUn's.

Fired up the ROM flashing utility, it began the process as usual but then crapped out at the 2% mark and gave me the "error [270] image is corrupted" message. I promptly entered the bootloader mode manually (power/camera/softreset) and attempted to flash back to PDAVIET and got the same error message. Re-downloaded mUn's ROM - same problem on retry.

Tried using Hard SPL - it reaches 100% mark but then gives me the same dreaded error message. I am completely out of time and absolutely need to get the P3600 running again, preferrably with mUn's ROM but anything will be good at this point as I will rely on the unit during my vacation for staying in touch with work and family.

To sum it up - I am able to enter bootloader manually and able to start the flashing process, however any ROM I've tried craps out at 2% due to Error [270], a subsequent restart leads to being stuck at the boot splash screen from PDAVIET's ROM.

Any suggestions will be most appreciated. I don't have the unit on me at the moment so I cannot provide all the info that is displayed on bootup, please let me know if that's necessary for troubleshooting and I'll post it as soon as I get a chance.

Same issue downgrading to PDAVIET 07.08.
Solve it in this way:

1) Enter in bootloader mode pressing at the same time power + camera button and press with the stick the reset button.
2) Flash your OFFICIAL rom.

It everything goes well, you are now ready to flash mun....

You can found some of them in the ftp server of this forum, under trinity/uploads

Tom, obviusly I'm not sure the problem is in your rom. If this issue is reported only by me, it may due to a customization, such as the italian keyboard settings, but I need it and with previous versions it was working...
I'm sure I have a problem related to a Today plugin 'cause the system doesn't boot anymore. And that plugin is the most important news...
But I don't have any safe mode boot program so can't do debugging and after 3 hard reset I decided to downgrade.

There is another issue reported also by igor01 about a wrong flash after installing 09. I've experienced the same.

After trying to downgrade from this version to the other more simple "p3600_d810_m700_noSPL_noIPL_noRadio_offical_rom_ss pl_loader" it give me error 270, now i'm stuck in HTC boot screen, i've pressed power, camera and soft reset to enter in boot loader mode and now i have:
IPL-0.50
SPL-1.07.0000
I've tried to load diferent spl (olipro), Hard-SPL_ZakMcRofl, and diferent roms but no sucess, i've read here in the forum to flash with the original rom, but my original vodafone rom needs active sync, but in this state i don't have, any ideas to solve my problem?

By the way for the few minutes i've tried this rom was very fast, but for me i like more cleen roms.

2) Enter in boot mode (Press Power Button + Camera Button and stick to reset for 5 seconds)

3a) Connect the phone to usb. If the bootloader write usb on the bottom you may be ready to flash with your original rom.
3b) If the vodafone rom do not allow to flash, just use another official htc rom: choose one from this list: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Trinity_Upgrades

4) flash
5) read the forum before flashing again :)

I use vista too and have no problems.. Check and make sure you have the latest windows mobile device center 6.1 is out.

M$ ultimate edition. I have the settings unticked for usb to pc advanced on the device as per required, even synced contacts and email, nbut upon reboot of device.... FREEEZE at the green screen... no compliance and 3rd time im trying to re-install pdaviet, maybe just swap back to dopod company release and wait for a few weeks for mun....

Yes - I too am having problems with Vista Sync Center. I have customised the icon used in WMDC. Whenever I plugged my Trinity into my Vista PC - it used the customised icons/graphics. This has been the same after flashing twenty or thirty times using WM5 and WM6 ROMS - other PDAVIET ROMs etc. however, since v3 (3.00.07.08 WWE - current ROM) it looked to re-install drivers for the device, did so and no longer uses my device customisation icon / graphics. Then WMDC crashes on green screen sometimes. sometimes my Trinity becomes so slow after Vista syncing that I have to soft reset. Only problems i have had with the ROMS. (apart from the horrible Green dialer and pinpad (replaced) and those splash screens:D . But that's a matter of taste!

So far no issues, when i get back home i will try to sync outlook with vista.

Just one question why everything is black and audio manager its green?:(

You don't need it. After flashing with an official rom, you can connect with active sync and flash your vodafone rom again.

I having some issues with this rom and wifi,everything works great but I if soft reset the phone or if I turn it off,everytime I turn it back on and it starts searching for wifi networks and finds mine,which is the one a use the most,the device shows a message asking for the WPA or WEP code.This happens over and over after typing it in several times,then it works as usual,but like I said (softreset or turn off and turn it back on) and again.

I've always noticed a lag when syncing with exchange, even with the official htc rom!

But today I'm tired, and even if the new homeplug is very nice, I will keep the pdaviet 07 revision with the old homeplug. It just works perfectly to me, with exchange/zimbra sync, italian keyboard, italian keypad etc. etc.

The last warning if you are planning to use the free backup utility Pim Backup (http://www.dotfred.net/) found in this rom: Before to trust it, try first a restore.
My appointments can not be restored, the application hangs with appointments with a lot of description or people or with corrections.
If you are not in this situation, it is just a very nice tool.
With this rom we can't install the official htc/spb backup...

Hello I like the rom so far. I got two problems. I have sent a sms with not text and I cannot delete it..tried to move it delete it.. no success. the other problem is the profile in the kaiser where auto settings comes up everytime I reboot the phone... it sucks.. why is there a fix? and why not so have an option where to select different sounds for the diff profile listed?

I also have the auto switching to vibrating problem. Totaly random my phone switches to vibrate mode (while the phone is idle...laying on my desk) I missed some calles because of this bug. Very annoying. Going to look for another ROM. It's a shame, like this ROM very much.

Hello guys!!
I having some issues with this rom and wifi,everything works great but I if soft reset the phone or if I turn it off,everytime I turn it back on and it starts searching for wifi networks and finds mine,which is the one a use the most,the device shows a message asking for the WPA or WEP code.This happens over and over after typing it in several times,then it works as usual,but like I said (softreset or turn off and turn it back on) and again.

Hello I like the rom so far. I got two problems. I have sent a sms with not text and I cannot delete it..tried to move it delete it.. no success. the other problem is the profile in the kaiser where auto settings comes up everytime I reboot the phone... it sucks.. why is there a fix? and why not so have an option where to select different sounds for the diff profile listed?

I'm using lastest PDAVIET ROM everything is fine read english and thai language ok but when connect to internet and go to thai web I cant read any of thai language even I install thai enable the page come up with square instead of proper font... How can I solve this matter

Do the following: inside windows in your PC, in the folder options, active the options to show the system files. After you do this, then it will show you the files in your pda. To delete the file you want, then you have to right-click on it, and remove the "Read-Only" option...and this is it!! ;)

When I installed this ROM everything worked perfectly, this started to happen after 2 weeks after installation...

There are some serious issues with this rom.

These things aren't saved after a softreset:

Email settings/messages
Wifi/Bluetooth/Activesync settings
Start menu history

I like this rom with all the features but why is it that
all these settings are lost with every softreset?

the previous PV rom didn't have these issues.

i have to hard reset to fix...
i did have spb soft installed but decied to remove to help stability..
i also removed SDcard to see if that helps but has noew crashed 5 times in 1 week..total restore needed everytime...
Its a shame as is a good rom nice fetures etc..

I got the same problem, and tried the following suggestion:
"just disable calendar synching in Active sync exchange settings..."
I can't believe that worked....
I went in safe mode, turned off calendar sync, then bang, it loads...

To me calendar sync is so important though.... sigh...
so close to being my perfect rom...

I have just upgrade to rom 3.00.07.18, it is very nice but I can't install the java program from gmail... it says that need more room (156kb) however I have more than that free. One detail, I dont have a memory card yet.
