Help..How secure is MDA Compact III?

Hello everyone. I sure do need assurance or if anyone knows what I am on about to really explain it to me. Here goes..

This is the second time I have checked my Storage Card(2GB) to find missing folders/files. The first time I lost all my important documents/pictures/videos. It has happened again tonight. Is this something the MDA does by itself, if it does I can sleep well tonight. Or is someone accessing my storage card to delete and copy(God forbid) without my knowledge?

I have bluetooth on but invisible mode.

Can anyone please tell me what to do to avoid this. I am terrified to even switch it on now. I had MDA Compact, MDA Compact II with no problem whatsoever.

well the first question that came to my mind is whether you have applied th patch for sd card corruption at the top of this forum?
