Rom Radio 1.46.30.11 and 1.46.00.11 :(

Hello everybody i tried to flash my Trinity with Radio 1.46.00.11 and 1.46.30.11 but no way !

I can cal, send or receive sms, but no body can call me !

I think i have a big problem,

Does somebody have an idea ???

Have you enabled the phone in comms manager? Only thing I can think of as 1.46.30.11 works perfectly for me.

Hi,

Just a stupid suggestion, but did you try your SIM in an other phone (just to make sure there's no pb with your operator or some permanent call forwarding to voicemail) ? What do you get/hear when dialing your mobile phone number ?

As may others, I use the 1.46.30.11 on a french branded Trinity (SFR s300+) without any pb.

GPS repositionning in 5 sec, positionning in less than 45 sec.
No battery drain.

Yep the new rom works very well. either you have a corrupt ROM. Try downloading again. upgrading the ROM or go back to one that did work.

Same problem here for my D810. I tried official ANZ rom and PDAVIET 2.7.7. With the 1.46.00.11 or 1.46.30.11, I can't receive any call but can call out and send & receive msg. Now I am using PDAVIET 02.07.07 and previus radio version 1.38 :( :(

I experienced the same thing. Calls I would make to Africa with v1.41.00 would come in garbled but now my reception and call clarity is noticeably improved as well as GPS etc.

Same problem here for my D810. I tried official ANZ rom and PDAVIET 2.7.7. With the 1.46.00.11 or 1.46.30.11, I can't receive any call but can call out and send & receive msg. Now I am using PDAVIET 02.07.07 and previus radio version 1.38 :( :(

I found that, after I flashed to WM6 (Official / PDAVIET)
when using 3G/HSDPA on Web
cannot received any call also video call.
After disable the HSPDA Switch under Setting / Connections
work fine with voice call, but failed to receive video call when using 3G :(

Radio sensibility reduced (always had 100% signal @home, reduced to 60% when using 1.46.00.11, back to 100% with 1.46.30.11)
Calls clarity improved, handfree volume improved.
Battery consomation reduced from 36mA to 28mA screen off.
3G/HSDPA connect and disconnect goes faster.
GPS positionning time reduced from 1,5 min to 45 sec.
GPS repositionning take less than 5 sec.

Now, a friend living in France has better experience with 1.46.00.11, seems that Radio ROM quality is also depending of your provider.

I have upgrade from the 1.41 radio rom to 1.46.30.11 - have not tried the 1.46.00.11

Been using it for about 3 days now, and no problem to report.

One huge improvement is GPS:

previously it would take me ages to get a fix, and it is now much much faster. From cold start, and also from warm start. I have tried multiple times to make sure it was not a placebo effect and I was doing a cold start. At last GPS is now usable.

It is also much more sensitive: before I could never get a fix at home, unless I positioned the phone by a window. Now I can get a fix from almost anywhere! No problem from 2nd floor (top floor), very fast as well. Works from 1st floor too, a bit slower. I have not tried from ground floor yet.

I upgrated to the australian 1.46.30.11 few days ago using it on two different wm6 roms and i have to say that i did not notice any sort of problem. Battery life seems improved, but this can due to the "official" OS (whit no batt issue) too. Also GPS fix seems faster, but i don't use it so much and so this could be just a first impression.
About the signal's quality it's very good and i noticed no problem whit handover (2g/3g) during a call, so i suggest you to upgrade asap.
I did not try the asiatic 1.46.00.11 cause i usually install the last available one... too simple?

I have made the updated to 1.46.30.11 about five days ago and i haven't any probleam with his. I use 3g and 2G, use many hours of data connection with EDGE and HSPDA and use WIFI. Also the GPS works very fine.:)

they work all, but I think better is 1.41, with 1.46.xx other calls me and I heared the rings, after more time that other wait my response, this not appen with 1.41 radio.

You don't need to upgrade, 1.46.00.11 and 1.46.30.11 are the same, the only difference is that the first has been extracted from the SEA, the second from the ANZ one.

Since then, I've never charged the phone anymore and it works great !
Receiving and sending about 20 SMS and 10 calls per day, using Internet connection and Messenger, but not yet GPS, phone is off during the night.
My operator is H3G IT :D

I'm using Rom version 02.10.00 and just switched to Radio version 1.46.30.11. from 1.26 ish..

I am a heavy HSDPA user and noticed a non linear use of battery level.

for example by morning after a full night charge the battery from 6am to 10pm went to 70%. By 6pm it was at 5%.

I also use Visto Mail, Google Maps with GPS amoung other things.

Maybe you've found the difference: I'm sure that switching the device from 3G to TIM EDGE or GPRS everything goes right, but don't forget I'm using WM5 :rolleyes:

For gps you need 4 sats to get a signal lock. The more channels locked, the more accurate your positioning will be

Now I'm quite sure that the 1.46.00.11 is better, GPS fix in seconds and more than 8 satellites connected.
Connected from the beach using HSDPA for MSN and surfin'the Net, more than 1 hour, battery still 3/4...
Always don't forget on my Trinity WM5 running...
