Hi,

Using a Dopod 810 / HTC Trinity and have upgraded to the official WM6 ROM.
So far so good. Still a battery drainer but not as much as the cooked ROMS.

I am finding my GPS takes a bit of time to lock onto sattelites. So....
a. Does the HTC Trinity support AGPS
b. Does the Australian 3 network support AGPS (I believe it does as it works on the Nokia N95)
c. If so, how do I activate AGPS on the device with this latest ROM

Would love some help.

Cheers,
Jeff

Sorry, this thread is a little old but I would like to bump it as I am looking for answers to exactly the same questions.

Mostly interested in how to enable AGPS on the HTC Trinity.

Thanks for any info!

It does not work for everybody, not only for you ;).

All the programs you may find on the web are token from other devices like Kaiser and Polaris (Qualcomm GPSone MSM7200), or like Artemis and Eten devices (Sirf Star) ... and I never read somewhere that one of them worked correctly for the Trinity (Qualcomm GPS ONE MSM6275)

--> Actually (and perhaps never), No AGPS solution for Trinity.

The MSM6275 definitely supports AGPS, that is what the gpsONE at the end means. I've been trying to look stuff up but most of the data was on cdmatech.com which now just redirects to the qualcomm homepage no matter where you navigate and the qualcomm site has nothing of use there! Very annoying.

So is AGPS definitely not supported on trinity?

Is it supported on any HTC device?
