HTC Home plugin with more cities for weather tab

Hi!

This is the 3-tab Home plugin. I replaced the 25kb city list it comes with, with the 200+ kb city list of the Kaiser weather plugin, so you have more cities.

Maybe it's of some use for someone...

To me i just want this to work, but i cant and have to use spb weather...:(

doesnt this make p3600 slow? i tried 2 home plugins and the trinity was so slow :(

Modify your registry inserting a new binary key:

Key
HKLM\Comm\Tcpip\Hosts\htc.accuweather.com\ipaddr
Value

Insert a new line into HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml
<city name="Figueira Da Foz, PT" loca="EUR|PT|PO007|FIGUEIRA%20DA%20FOZ " land="Portugal"/>

Turn off and turn on to activate changes.
Now you are using another site instead of the htc proxy which give information about the whole international accuweather forecast.
In this way you are redirecting htc.accuweather.com to the site 64.62.158.108.

You can do it yourself. It is easy.
Go here (http://www.accuweather.com/us-city-list.asp?partner=accuweather&zipcode=0-999&page=/adcbin/public/local_index.asp) and search for your city under International locations. Purmerend for instance!
After it finds it, check the address bar and you will see this: EUR|NL|NL008|PURMEREND
As claros said, insert a new line into HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml with
<city name="Purmerend, NL" locationcode="EUR|NL|NL008|PURMEREND"/>
Save the file and you are set!

with shap's configurator , it is possible to add any town of the world ! (if your town exist in the web site , so it works in the plugin)
