View Full Version : where i can find Original T-Moblie ROM for MDA compact lll?

Hi all,
i had recently upgraded the WM6 on my MDA compact 3. everything was good however, i could not able to get the TOMTOM 6 working.
does anyone had experience on this? and got TOMTOM working? if do, which version and where to download?
or if the worst case. please someone help to tell me how i can go back to T-mobile ROM?

Hi!
I have installed the O2 WM6 Rom on my MDAcIII. The TomTom build in the ROM works for me! I only copied my Card to the SD and registered it, thats all!

OK, I have first CID-Unlocked my MDAcIII, then I have installed the WM6 Update of O2 Germany.

After the Update, the branding and TomTom gets installed.

listen mate - just got me a MDA compact III on t-mobile.
I have tried Lowitz utlity - no joy their !!!
There is someone who says they can unlock the SIM but not CID .
I really would like to use my Orange pay montly contract SIM but its SIMlocked - I am tempted to get it unlocked via IMEI-unlock.co.uk
Any advice how u unlocked your - cheers !!!

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. CID Unlock means that you can Install other ROMS on your Phone, SIM-Unlock means that you can use no other SIM-Card. The MDAcIII is NetLocked, so you can use just T-Mobile cards.
If that wasn't your question, please ask again :D
