Don't really know if anyone has done this if not this would be a great concept for a smartphone app but is there an application that you can set to automatically close and free memory after a preset amount of time?

i think you can do this using mortscript. create a notification event to kill the apps and then use oxios memory to recover, after, it will then create another notification event for the next cleanup

You can use either John Cody's Alerts or Autoflight to have your device initiate a soft reset at a given time. I've used both and right now use JCA as it has a couple options I like that Autoflight doen't but Autoflight is a good product also. I use JCA for as my daily alarm, profile changer, and have it do a reset at 0300 each day.

what if you are using the apps when it decides to close them?
this just isn't practical.

best for me is oxios close apps. its free and 1 click.

sk tools can be set to run at certain times. maybe you can configure it to do what you are looking for.

what i am looking for is an app that closes and frees memory after a preset time for example if in 10 mins i dont use an app most likely i am not using it anymore and then it can be closed to free more memory for the ones i am using does it make sense now...

It's actually quite stable and very close to the final build. I'm not surprised if this is the one that we'll get when the final build is released.

:D No joke, that new HTC wm6 ROM is smoking! It's the best on the streets, like I said, guaranteeded no memory loss. See you are thinking of that old T-Mobile leaked ui test ROM, that sent text messages to mars and back. This new HTC wm6 test UI ROm is in a class by itself. Try it and see for yourself.........!:D
