Hello everyone,
have you experienced this issue: phone part working only after soft reset and only for one call or one data connection, after that even the phone seems connected to the network, I am un reacheable...
...and is taking very long time to conect to the network...
could this be a hardware failure?
I'm on wm6 2.20

I've noticed the phone not work until after I changed the band. I haven't noticed your issue. Check the band anyhow. The settings depends on your provider.

I have the same issue, The phone just stops working and the icon get an exclamation mark. Then I need to soft reset to get the phone working again

I don't know why but it seems that if you disable "HSDPA Switch" (in settings, open "HSDPA Switch" and uncheck the box, then Soft Reset), the problem disappears.

the exclamation mark means you don't have a signal. I've read here about updating the radio as the older radio seems to be better. I've had no problems with my reception yet. but do think the original radio rom was better.

I don't know why but it seems that if you disable "HSDPA Switch" (in settings, open "HSDPA Switch" and uncheck the box, then Soft Reset), the problem disappears.
Here it works perfectly. I use 1.45 radio ROM with WM6 from xda. I have set phone for auto/auto for band settings and have no problem. It always tries to connect with best possible speed HDSPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS. I keep the connection always on as my provider charges me for first 100 KB and then for each 1KB in one go. I can see that my signal is much better then in my Universal or in FS T830.

It was a hardware failure.
I'm waiting now for the phone replacement.
