USB device performance

Hi Chaps (..and chapesses ?)

Anyone else had experience with USB memory disks? I have trying out 1GB & 4GB memory sticks to transfer video's to the micro-drive. From my PC to the stick it takes approx 30 sec's to copy a 700MB avi. From the stick to the micro-drive it takes over 30 min's via the 4-in-1 dongle.

Other than it being designed to be dog slow (usb 1.1 maybe?) anyone got any tips or USB tweaks?

the 4-in-1 cable connects to the 16pin connector on the side which is a low voltage usb 1.1.
So to answer your question, YES, it is usb 1.1
