The problem is that the VT app from Kaiser is not compatible to Hermes or Trinity... And HTC changed the PHONE_CANVAS package so it cannot be used with the Trinity VT...
I will make a cab that enables VT with old skin, but need some time for that

- When i connect my trinity with an usb-cable on my computer, it swapped between loading and no loadin (Zustand: "lädt" bzw. "Verbleibende Akkuspannung") Will check, if this a problem of my computer, or of the cable i use, etc.)

Take my Link, for me Office Mobile and .Net works after flashing the Extended Rom. the Ram can´t decrease because OfficeMobile exist in the extended ram.

I do not have any of these problems... but I just have a 2GB standard SD... poor student :D

Hold the power button for 5 sec and click at "Ja", that way the registry will be saved for sure

But the mic of the Headset will not be activ, i think this is a prblem of VC.

it's 0.5, works on the other beta very well... and i've found the solution. seems to be necessary to write the email into the textbox "Meine Email-Adressen". could it be?

GREAT ROM Thanks a lot. I've tested it with both extended Roms but MSCALC, Office Mobile and Adobe Reader LE won't work. Don't know where i made a mistake. But i found out that there is an old Microsoft .NET CF in this rom. Is it possible to implement Microsoft .NET CF 2.0? Call Firewall won't work with this Version and i can't make a upgrade to v2.0.

EDIT: I reflashed again bepe's extRom and nothing works. I think the autorun to install the applications from the extRom won't start. I made a HardReset but nothing happens.

Okay your are winning the race.

There is no autorun! If you are looking for the custimazion screen with the 3 sec. that will you never see.

You only can see if it works when OfficeMobile is present under the folder OfficeMobile.


OK, so there is an other problem. Mobile Office won't work with Bepe's or your extRom. Same with MSCALC and Adobe Reader LE. I have installed Adobe and Office manual now and it works.

Second, I don't understand why, but the new ROM have some issue...:

using the lastest DOPOD's one, you can't use the ExtRom (isn't usable during the customization process, and you can't unhide it in anyway...)....for me this is a very strong problem because I need to use the ExtRom (...do you remember my ExtRom PLUS???...)

In the new DOPOD's rom, I can't edit the .dat file to edit the Programs Menu's shortcuts and the self-created folders, because any modification corrupt the rom (!!!!)

Finally, the new ROM have some issue with the HSDPA-bandwight support (maybe caused by the HSDPA swith present in the Settings Tab...)


Moreover, I'll release an All-In-One rom upgrade that install at the same time, as an original update, HardSPL + RADIO Rom + OS Rom + ExtRom + OEM splash screens

Hi bepe,

i have now test the problem with the ext-rom but i can't find a sollution on it. I have compared the reg files with no additional installation of your ext-rom and with it but i got no result. I have also tried a view combinations with the sspl's from "oli" and "des" but it was all the same( i solved the flashing problem of your first issue ext-rom weeks a go with those kind of trick). I hope that you could find a sollution on it.
Maybe you can put the files that are in the ext-rom, into the main-rom? That would be helpfull in case of an hardreset :-)

Another question: Are you thinking about an implementation of the touchflo in your rom like on the Artimes? That looks very nice and smooth :-)

For my overall impression of your 0.51 rom is that it is not that stable as it was with the older build weeks before but it is very fast!!!

I hope that would bring your fantastic work a little bit more further to another build of your rom!!!!

there is a problem with the ringmode. The setting normal and automatic do just the same. The trinity switches to vibration if i have an entry in my calender at this time but the ringmode is set to normal.

Yeah the problem of the unavoidable auto-vibrate "feature" is a show-stopper. A phone that does not ring if I want it to is useless...

That doesnt even show up on my Trinity. I deactivated the HTC Home Plugin although I liked it very much. But the unwanted vibrate feature makes it unusable.

Maybe my solution only works with the attached new htchome.dll (please try)!

if you want 6. button just copy the attached files in to windows edit the registry and have fun.

That is no solution. To switch something automatic off by hand is what you want to avoid by using something automatic...

the htchome.dll is great thank you for your posting!! It's also cool to have the Audio-Manager as player from the Music icon!! I hope bepe is including that "dll" in his next ROM-Version!!! For now i can return to the newest bepe's version, GREAT!!!!

I have to revise my message in case of the sound profiling issue. It's not solved the only thing was that it did not changed after reboute. So it looks nice but it is not use full when you can't count on your decision.

Active Sync with Exchange server not working due to Security Certificate Error. If this is a ROM issue than this would be a show stopper for me, cause I need this every day (in fact I need it every hour).

It is not my providers fault cause I can sync with echange from my Desktop outlook.

Very sad bug... cause otherwise this is a very smart ROM.

Edit: Just unchecked SSL and now it works! Great! Sorry for my postings.

-add SIP Config
-add portuguese language db to xt9
-there's a dummy email account, is it there for some reason?
-voice command button isn't correct, I had to set it again(but maybe it just required a reboot)
-include WM5torage with the attached wm5torage.exe(new icon)?
-disable advanced network so that wm5torage works out-of-the-box
-add some java vm(don't know which one's the best)

I did not include the cracked TomTom, cos this is not a Warez forum. So if you have purchased your TomTom, kontact the customerservice about that or search Google about "kg_new.exe tomtom"... but check if that tool is legal.

Perhaps this day, but no promise... remember this are just bug check builds. Someday the final should be perfect and have Build 1.00 :)

The 3g switch allows you to save power, I don't really need to have 3G enabled at all times, only when making a video call or a data connection that requires high bandwidth(weather updates don't need use a 3G connection).

About Beam, I don't need it because of IR, I need it because that setting is also used by MS's Bluetooth Stack to allow/disallow bluetooth file transfer, again it is a power issue, by enabling bluetooth file file sharing you're also enabling IR file sharing wich listens for incoming IR connections wasting power.

About XT9 language, I was hoping you had all the languages but decided to include only a few of them =P I'll look for it then.

I have tested the cyberon voice command.
It works perfect with the bt headset and the english commands are no problem.
But you have to speak all names in english. That is a big problem to speak german names in english.

The MS VC is for german the best but it do not work with BT headset.
Anybody an idea?

That's a good idea :) . The curious thing is that you can change the
keyboard from or to XT9 but without any result. Only the keyboard

I like to disable the xt9 to but i've seen you will not included in your next release, maybe you could include a diferent keyboard like Mun or PDAViet latest roms.

meh, I've been trying to find the dictionaries for xT9, but I can only find them for eT9 smartphone version =|

I like xT9, writting in portuguese having only the english dic. forces me to tap every word I wrote, but after some time it'll learn them and it helps a little, but with a portuguese dictionary it would be better, (and a mixed one would be perfect).

Be sure to put a version that switches between GSM and WCDMA, and NOT between Auto and GSM (or Auto and WCDMA).
The Auto option is very troublesome if you live in area with bad 3G coverage.

I do have notice one thing that when it reboots the ram is about 25megs and then it goes down ... more and more... and more.. it does not come back up... is there a memory leak?

One more question. Does TomTom show the warning everytime you start it up? I thought if you had the full version it would not do that..I guess I was wrong. Any suggestions on this?

If anything has to 'jump out' it should be Internet Sharing as it is a shortcut to an application and not a function.

New OS build, nice, noticeable improvements?

Also, I've been trying to create a personalized rom based on the latest 0.73, created some packages of my own and used others like sim manager, I tried the tools from the "bepe kitchen for ...", rom donalds and corepro, no errors whatsoever during the process, all smooth(but I had to do it on a WinXP VM), flashed but none of the roms boot(there's also a lost thumbs.db in the rom), it could be form the packages I created but I see no problem with them and I used a package creator tool.

Also, could the extended rom auto formatting problem somewhere in the XIP(boot.hv/rgu)? Have you figured it out bepe?

But now I have 4 questions:

1. Isn't there a way to disable the XT9, by using Resco Registry Editor? I ask this not because XT9 bothers me, but because it has some kind of incompatibility with Intelli PhonePad, which I use very often, but with XT9 installed, then neither the intellipad nor the xt9 works...:(

2. I remember the was a software that allowed us to configure which functions we want to attribute to the soft buttons (the ones above the green start call and red end call buttons). Since you didn't had it installed, is there somebody here he could post the link to this software?

3. There was a really great function in AX3L rom, which made the phone vibrate when you press any of the dialkeys on the phone pad. This may seem useless, but when you're driving and trying to make a phone call, then it proves to be very effective! I think that it's done through the registry as well, because I never saw a software installed for that purpose...Can anyone tell me how to activate this function in this rom?

4. Is there any tweaks that could still be done to this rom to make even faster? :D

About the late 0.73 release, sorry for taking that long, but it is not easy to port a new OS version from a different Device. Module reallocation took about two days and was really much work.

It worked for me with INDIGO. The problem is I think, that Voice Command has to be installed in the main memory to make the bluetooth tool I attached work...

How to make Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 work (WM5 & WM6 tested!).
(caution, this MAY disable all incoming call notifications over the speaker and obviously doesn't route the notifications to the headset - that's a MS stack problem...)
NB The 'Program Files' directory mentioned several times below, may be different on non-english language versions of WM (see below).

Install VC 1.6 (make sure it is in Main memory)
Download Bluetooth Voice Command 0.9f.cab here - related forum thread
Download ?BTVoiceCommand.exe here - related forum thread
Download replacement btagext.dll here (Unknown if this works with WM6?) - related forum thread
Run .9f Hack
Create the Folder \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command (should be created during the .9f cab install)
Copy ?BTVoiceCommand.exe and btagext.dll into this folder
Go to newly created BT Voice Command config (in Programs) and tick the check box "Enabled"
Set command duration to 30 (or more - check by experiment when set up)
Set or check that the following registry keys are set (I had to manually change Path to ?BTVoiceCommand.exe.)
HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\?VoiceCommand\Path = "\Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command\?BTVoiceCommand.exe"

*Recreate Headset Pairing.
*NOTE: first time you invoke voice command using BT headset button, you may get the "run this program yes/no?" option on your screen. You have to QUICKLY hit "yes" or your phone will have to be soft reset to exit the prompt.
Set Side button to ?VoiceCommand (if desired for backup when using Mortscript described below)
You may also need to create the directory \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command and move the files over if you live in a different country and MS installs everything to something similar - like Programme...

WM6 specific:

If using the .09f file downloaded from the link above, the registry key should look slightly different:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\?VoiceCommand\Path = "\Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command\BTVCBasic.exe"

You may still encounter a problem where approx 15 s after initiating a call using MSVC from your headset button, the sound is routed back to the handset. A subsequent press on the button usually reroutes the sound to the headset, but sometimes disconnects the call instead. We are hoping for a fix for this.

I finally made it! I made quite a stupid error as I was using the WM6 integrated file explorer to copy the VoiceCMD.exe to the correct path. Doing this I copied the VoiceCMD.lnk instead of the VoiceCMD.exe. As a result of this VoiceCMD.exe never started. I finally found this out this evening using Total Commander...

I now can tell, that the installation of the .9f hack is the only thing you have to do in order to make Voice Command 1.6 run via BT.
On a german ROM both "Bluetooth Voice Command" and "Voice Command" have to be installed under the path "Programme":
\Programme\Bluetooth Voice Command\...
\Programme\Voice Command\...

Maybe this will help some other german users...

It helps nothing, if voicecommand is installed in main memory... no matter if WWE or GER.
On all the roms before (i.g. INDIGO) it worked.

you dont need to setup TomTom... it just need some time to get the first fix.
it should say "waiting for signal" (or something like that) and after sometime you should get a fix.

Isn't that symbol supposed to show up only when the signal is extrenely good, and if the network supports it of course...?


I'm asking this, because I don't see the "H" as well...but I don't know if it's because of the signal not being strong enough, or if its something else...

I would be better if the "H" would show up...but what really matters is if the speed is there or not...


So the question is: even if the "H" doesn't show, doens't mean that I'm not connected @ HSDPA ?????

If so, then we have a bigger problem than I've thought...:(

I'm on the latest .73 WWE version (no tomtom)... Really really really great ROM

One thing I noticed... pressing and holding the end call key for 2-3 seconds brings a very nice quick list.... but the problem is that it's not in english even though I'm using the WWE version...

Need to make a new icon for that too...this works great with the light vc. Only one thing can you change the default musicplayer in the music-plugin to wm-player instead of audiomanager.

I also just tested it on indigo lite. It works just with the blueottoth tool, I posted earlier... nothing else to do and it works.
But with all the bepe's roms, no way to get it work! :(

I have tested the cyberon voice commander last week with bepes ROM. It works and to speak the commands in english is not the problem.
BUT!!!! you have to speak the names in your contacts in english.
That is the problem.
For example the name "Schulz". It don't understand it, you have to speak it "Schalz"!!

I can't work with that!

There must be some way to get it work on bepes roms since it works on all the others...

As i'm french I was using FAMAN's realease but I'm trying your 0.73 WWE since this morning and I think I will stay with this rom and future updates untill now.

I only found one bug for the moment: I reorganized the icons in HTC HOME quick lauch and I can't add again COMM MANAGER, it's not in the list.

If someone has an idea for how to fix it or maybe think about fix this issue in next release.

i've been flasing mdas for several years now, and received my trinity today. not wasted any time with the original rom - i've alreay downloaded bepe0.73.

as suggested i installed hard-spl first, and then tried to install bepe0.73. established an activesync session, started the update, and all seems fine. it moves "enterbootloader.exe" to the device. i allow the execution. the device enters bootloader and then the update program exits with error 246: device not responding.

what have i done wrong? can anyone help?
