I had this problem before. A soft reset of the device and/or system typically resolves the problem.

Right...it's an official part of the WM6 release, but optional apparently.
Could be that Dopod didn't want people to think of the U1000 as a PDA which needs to connect to an RD, but as a fully functional device by itself=
you never know with marketing/PR.

Any hint for using a /console command ? If you connect to a server you open a new terminal session, but not see the console. with xp you can start mstsc.exe /console

I'm able to connect to a Windows Workstation but cannot connect to W2k Server - I can see the logon dialog box but I cannot type a letter "s" which unfortunately appears in the password :D.

Does anyone how to fix it?

If you wanted to connect from your PC to your mobile device you could use MyMobiler ( www.mymobiler.com ). This works whilst sync'd. I also believe their is a way to connect via IP (see the .ini file when you install on your PC), so that could be handy if you are connected via Wifi.
Also, cant say I've had any issues with WM6 RDP connecting to a remote PC.
