Hey, I found a thread from before that gives directions on how to disable the sent sms message confirmation but it doesn't seem to work.

Anybody figure out how to make that work on WM6?

with a reg editor go to

HKey_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\

create a key called \Settings\ and within that key create a DWord value called SMSNoSentMsg and its value to 1

or just goto sound and notifications, and then goto the open new connection, and disable the text notification. no registry edit necessary.

can you clarify this please. I went to sounds and notifications, and I see no option to "open new connection".

You can't do that for disable the CONFIRMATION OF THE SENDED MESSAGE in the notification area (Does not exist in there) u have to do the Register Tweak....

I still don't know why the phones even come with this notification. It is single handedly one of the most annoying "features" ever and this registry edit is one of the first ones I do when I get the phone.

I tried to create a key and got an error message saying "Access Denied". How do I get access?
