I have to go abroad very often (Africa, India, Asia) Sometimes I need bigger files (Powerpoint, Word) from my company back home and its impossible to send this files via email. So I'm planing to buy a premium account for filesharing.
But I saw in different threads that some guys are havng troubles downloading files from rapidshare, especially from Southafrice.
Does anybody know how rapidshare and megaupload works in Africa, India, Asia and the Arab countries?

I heard the same about Egypt, megaupload always says "all slots for your country are full" or something like this. So I will stick to rapidshare. What a pity, I prefer megaupload :(

I've heard MegaUpload limits connections from countries outside the US, so if you are in a place like Africa or India, you may get a message like "connection limit reached for your location."

Great list !! Thanks 'nothing' ;)
And yes, I second that "megaupload sucks in India"(slots are always full)
Infact, till now, I have never been able to download a single file from megaupload :p

Guys, this waiting time annoys me and i was searching ways to bypass that but then my friend told me such more easier method to download files of different sizes without waiting using search engine of filetram.com. So i am sharing it with you to prevent buying premium accounts etc. peace!:)

4Shared is a great alternative, or even Google Docs as you can upload files up to 1GB in size, which is bigger than most allow iirc.

@OP, how big is the presentation? I suggest trying out dropbox and/or GDocs.
Because the best things in life are free.
For everything else, there's cash.
