I've read on some other sites people were still unsure about this card working but I bought it and I can confirm that it works. I tested it and all is working. If you want my detailed review you can check it out here but it's definitely working and I recommend anyone that can to grab one!

i read your blog post.

i use a stereo 2.5mm-->stereo 3.5mm adapter and shure ec3 iem's. the adapter is L-shaped so it doesn't stick out much at all. i just unplug for voice calls.

Yeah that's what I thought about doing too because then I can use whatever nice headphones I want to use. I really like having the headphones and the microphone in one so I can talk if a call comes in while I'm jamming out. But with that 2.5mm plug and an old 2.5mm headphone/mic I don't think the mic part works JUST the headphones. Can anyone confirm that?

confirmed. that's why i unplug for voice calls. totally worth it though; shutting out the city noise.

if you don't want to use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter you can get a enhanced USB to 3.5mm adapter. Martin fields makes a good one which you can find on their site and another named doml. just google search it.

i prefer the enhanced usb to 3.5mm because its not as bulky so there isn't a gigantic cluster of garbage coming off my phone. I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but i'm sure it'll work out great.

using it with shure e2c's, i wish i had e3c's :)

I saw that USB to 3.5mm adapter actually. I've seen one that even has a microphone on it so you could use the nice headphones but also talk at the same time. That would definitely help me laying out by the pool and jamming out and take phone calls :P Who did you order yours from mnksauce?
