hey, i have a t-mobile wing. one of the new additions to wm6 is the tray at the bottom of the today screen (the one with the mini icons of the comm manager, device lock, battery status, etc). how can i edit which icons reside on the tray? also, is there a tweak that disables the tray in-order to free up program memory?
thanks,

I don't know about tweaking it, but you can get rid of it entirely. I believe the file is called int_tray and it's in the Windows/Startup folder

Delete - init_tray.ink - from windows\startup folder.

It saves you some memory and you really donīt need the two symbols. You can better use Batterystatus and choose - traylaunch - then you can edit ALL symbols.

from http://howardforums.com/showthread.p...e+t-zones+icon

*Tray icons

-Edit registry as follows:

[HKLM\init]
Launch92=
(delete TrayAp.exe)

-Or, if you want to keep some but not all of the icons:

[HKLM\Software\HTC\TrayApplet]

what's the file name for the t-zone logo (the pink one that looks like the @ symbol, but there's a t instead of an a). I already deleted the program it's linked to, so now when I click on the tray icon, it says something about no being able to find "winwap." what is the file name in the tray launcher so I can delete that one icon?
thanks,

I am having the same issue.

Also, I want to remove a few of the icons from it, but not all. I haven't been able to find the registry entries for most of them and I've looked at literally every registry entry on the Wing. My eyes hurt now. :(

Wow, got a little nervous as I soft-booted, but it worked perfectly! Love it, TYVM!

fyi: used sktools lite's registry search to do so. Great piece of freeware. Google it.
