hey so racerx, you've used the plug on your trinity... any idea why my battery burns down to nothing in a day? when I remove it from the today screen my battery consumption goes back to normal. maybe checking weather too often on hsdpa by itself?

also do you know if the automatic profiling has been fixed? i just want it to stay on normal vibrate + ring

personally, i'm not experiencing any battery drain issues, and i use my pda quite heavily. I think you guys were correct in thinking that it may be the weather component checking too frequently.. However, it seems you would have to be clicking on the weather component all day long for that to happen, so i don't quite follow. mine doesn't check on it's own unless clicked on..

I think I'll try the HTC Touch version of the homeplug instead of the Kaiser version... the quickdial on the kaiser htc home doesn't add that much and like we all know... automatic profiling is a bit dodgy atm.

I hope htc touch version doesn't have the same problems..

Did you try the modified version of the 5 button HomePlug in post #280 of the thread in the Hermes WM6 forum?

It is supposed to fix the Auto Profile problem (I suspect by disabling Auto Profile altogether, though it's button remains!)

I loaded it last night, so will see if an upcoming appointment still turns my M700 to Vibrate :)

ah, i haven't tried that one.. but then i'm now using PDAVIET's new rom, where the previous kaiser homeplug is cooked in to the rom.. We'll see..

isn't it spooky that the other thread disappeared though? haha I feel like we're all part of a conspiracy or something! :D

Well I've found the htc elf home plug works flawlessly. no battery drain, no dodgy automatic turning off of my audio. :D since the smartdial thing is a bit superfluous (i can always use the normal smartdial!!!) it is perfect!

Now if only it was a tad smaller. :(

I have been using the .cab with no battery issues at all.

I have been banging my head against the wall, maybe someone can help me....

In the programs tab of the kaiser home plug, I want to add some applications that are in the settings tab but the only one I can find is 'memory'. I cannot find 'remove programs, task manager' or 'today'. Does anyone know where to find these so I can put the .lnk into programs and have them show up in the list?

@maevro - sorry i haven't poked around for it personally.. but are these apps found under windows directory? if so, you could create shortcuts to them in your programs folder and i think they should show up in the homeplug then

I hope it is more stable than the original juvus... with my contact I often was stuck at splash screen.

I have a question on the options for the favorites where you can put the picture of your friends .. now if I have a friend with cell phone and home phone how can I have him/her on the list since it does not allow me to select what number I want to specify on this list.

i think it just puts their default number on the list... whichever one is dialed if you just press the green 'call' button when they're selected in contacts.. i've wondered the same thing, but to be honest i've just been too lazy to see how to change the default number haha. :D

Only nag is that SPB diary must be scrolled quite a bit because HTC Homplug takes up so much space.

Any suggestions on improving appearances?

Also, how did you alter the Homeplug to only have four buttons. I want to get rid of the weather button as I never use it.

The bottom is iLauncher with icons created by someone else. I installed the 5 tab plug in and used Resco Reg Edit to change the registry and remove the Quickdial tab because I hate it.

If you use HTC Audio manager, you have to change HKLM/SOFTWARE/HTC/Music Plug-In/MusicPlayer from 1 to 2.

FYI...

HKLM/SOFTWARE/HTC/HTCHome Tabsetting. Initially the key will be this string: "1,2,3,4,5" This enable the Home, QuickDial, Weather, Launcher and Music in that order so you can change it to any way you want it.

Because it's the tabs that make the height of SPB Diary; If you get rid of some tabs you can change the minimum auto-height on the under general settings from 120 down to 80... Only having 4 tabs is just enough to make SPB Diary fit perfectly under the HTC Home Plug.

I only have the Calendar, Tasks, Messages & Special Events tabs active.
