To reproduce this bug/feature you just have to start Core Player or TCPMP close it and measure battery usage, it goes up for 10-15 mAh and never go back to normal after you close it. My guess is that this is due ATI Imageon initialization which is normal but it is not normal to stay after you close player. It would be interesting to see results on Windows Mobile 5 because I'm using latest PV's WM6 ROM.

just finished at gym and noticed mine does this too with core player- not sure if it somehow increased the brightness of my trinity but after a soft reset the mA was still high so i checked brightness and it was on full- even though i never have it more than 50%...... Dropped back to 50% and its back to normal....

Sorry to borrow the thread for a sec.
I see a lot of posts where people post the Battery usage in mAh, I have been trying to search both google and this forum for an application that can do this, please could someone point me in the right direction?

acbPowerMeter (http://www.acbpocketsoft.com/Products/acbPowerMeter/acbPowerMeter-Overview-2.html), another very nice and simple utility to measure battery usage.
