Hello guys!

I have read the Wiki, been through whole forum but I still have some questions.
I have a T-Com TC500, the same as Iteq s200. It is a G4 version. with original SW installed on it.
I would like to upgrade it to a newer ROM because I would like to get English language instead of german.
I read on the forum that one option is with the shell tool.
The other option should be directly with the RomUpdateUtility which comes in ie. Fantastic b4 step 1. What is then step 2?
There seems to be even the third option also with RUU but with using only .nbf file from the ROM.
I am totally confused about what I should do first.
I also read that it is reccomended to do the ROM dump on SD card but it is not possible with locked CID - what to do in order to avoid bricking your device.

I know that there are quite a lot of questions in my post, but would appreciate if you could help me.

THX, Zmelkoow

Fantastic Mobiz Step 1 write Splash Screen and new Ext_Rom with a WM5 ... its for 100% cleaning the QTEK. they use this way ... i dont know why ... but it works!

Step 2 write only the WM6 OS!! this type of writeing roms is easyer to handle ... you doesnt need any steps to build a rom ... save time!

you need both steps!

About CID ... you have right! Without CID unlocked device you cant make a dump ... but you dont need them! If you can enter the bootloader ... you can flash any rom. if you cant enter the bootloader ... sd-card is useless!
