If you are flashing to the new ROM, do a hard reset (hold both soft keys while reseting, let go and press SND - Wiki has detailed instructions). I had to do this once, then reflashed and it worked fine.

These roms are kinda strange...new versions after new versions, but nobody knows exactly what do they have inside...

Which bug corrections?
Any tweaks?

Take battery out for 30s, then press power button/camera/soft reset, install original rom (you can find it in wiki), then if you want, install this again.
If you have original rom like vodafone you cant install cause it needs active sync.

You silly goose! You have to get your phone Super CID unlocked or else you will never upload the awesome Rom! If you keep acting like a noob and telling people you did unlock when you didn't, you are in denial! So stop being lazy and just do it, your Trinity won't do it for you! No offense!

I had a similar issue when going from 3.00.07.09 to 3.00.07.10. Completely through me out and then wouldnt let me install.

I had to put it into bootloader mode and then install the proper dopod official rom before installing 3.00.07.10

After that, it worked fine... so if you want to use this rom, go back to a dopod or other official rom first

Going out from 3.00.07.09 has been difficult for a lot of people, so I think there was a problem with the supercid in that rom.
Pay attention to htcustom, it is not compatible with the new battery status plagin and can lock the device at today screen.

But this rom is really incredible, extremely fast!
Excellent work tom, as usual!

But it has one big problem...

My device takes 6,15 MINUTES to start. I see the PDAVIET logo, green light is flashing, and after 6 minutes I finally see the home screen.

This happened after I configured everything I needed on my device, BUT I DIDN`T install ANY software, so problem is in ROM...

For all of you that have such a problem, just wait around 3-7 minutes and device WILL boot up and will pass the PDAVIET logo...

And second thing, WLAN is not working... There are 2 green lights flashing but nothing happens AFTER FIRST connection... The first one goes good, but when you disconnect and reconnect WLAN again its not working..

And just for fun, when synchronising calendar, device sound changes to vibrate :) lol, strange

Can anyone help me on this one?

Thanks!

Enter bootloader mode manually (Camera + Power Button + Reset). You should get a multicolor screen.

When in bootloader mode, try flashing an original ROM.

If that doesn't work, have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308691

Good luck.

I don't know what you mean telling "customizing device"... Does the system start so slowly since the first boot after hard reset?
I don't think so... You restarted the device 3 times...
Or it became slowly after customization? Remember that you can't restore a full backup from a previous rom, just contacts, appointments, notes, etc, excluding all the system files and custom settings.

If nothing until now works you should try to:
a) Boot without sim and sd-card.
b) Boot without sd-card

to see what happens.

If nothing changes, flash again the device with an original wm5 htc rom, then reflash pdaviet or the rom you prefer.
But I really think it is due to your custom settings, so reflash is your really last chance...

Customizing simply means, setting the device up (regional settings, active sync, messaging, GPRS connections...)

Will try, but I think it is because one of the settings... Either GPRS,regional maybe active sync...

Try to use the network wizard included in the rom, under settings/connections. It includes a lot of operators...
Maybe a cab from your provider is slowing down the device.

Dear All,
I am facing a strange problem. After using this rom 3.00.07.10 for a few days I was very happy with it. Then I entered into the batterystatus option menu in the today settings. I activated data counter. After that I did a soft reboot of my trinity, it was stuck at the splash screen. After that I tried everything from removing the battery, to removing the sim and the sd card. Eventually after 10 hard reboots, it started, however, the batterystatus plugin was disabled (unchecked) in the today settings. I rechecked and booted again, I had the same problem. However booting without batterystatus plugin works fine. IT is as if WM6 recongnizes an issue with batterystatus and disables it. Has anyone experienced that?

Thanks

Hooah!

I found the fucking bug! Its the active sync but only the calendar part... When I sync my calendar, phone goes from normal ring tone to vibrate (WTF?!), and then when I power it down and up it takes whole 6 minutes to boot up... When I remove calendar synching, everything works fine...

Weird...

i think there's more to it than the activesync though.. seems like there's a few bugs in the new home plugin with notification cues and auto profiling. They've just posted a fixed version in the hermes forum here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1385802&postcount=560).

Tom, maybe this could be incorporated in to an updated ROM for all us PDAVIET fans? :D

And why put it inside the ROM?
Why not leaving it up to us to decide if we want to put it, or which one to use. For example I use the original HTC Home plugin...it's flawlees...works like a breeze...

So, I'd propose no to include any today plugins and then each one dedices what to put inside...and use the space for other more usefull software, for example, RESCO Explorer or batterystatus...

But because the todays plugins are so buggy, then it should be left out of the ROMS.

While these PV roms have this home plugin inside, I wont install it for sure...:(

i think there's more to it than the activesync though.. seems like there's a few bugs in the new home plugin with notification cues and auto profiling. They've just posted a fixed version in the hermes forum here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1385802&postcount=560).

Tom, maybe this could be incorporated in to an updated ROM for all us PDAVIET fans? :D

I was reporting this issue since 3.00.07.09. I've tried the juvus kaiser home plug on the official dopod rom and experimented the same issue. I've read the hermes forum but as to me can be issue also on customizing the speed dial contacs, there is something related to photo contacts that is not already been discovered.
In add, the extended version of battery status is a beta version and should not be used before reading the release notes...

I'm actually using PDAVIET 3.00.07.08 ( the release with touch home plug and battery status stable 0.4.203 that has been delete from this forum probably because of copyright software inside).
It absolutely stable even if I've modified the release a lot using my custom italian settings and the wonderful www.pocketcm.com contact manager that let my trinity like an htc touch. I'm still using wengo phone 'couse I didn't find a really usable internet telephony package to use on trinity...

I agree Claros. I was not keen on moving to 3.00.07.09 because of the problems that people were reporting. When 3.00.07.10 came along, people were saying how fast it was - and with the new "juvus kaiser home plug" - I was tempted and flashed the ROM. I've now got stability problems and the fastest battery drain I've ever experienced - without much "customisation" of the ROM.

Much as I like the new home plug's features (well only the photo contacts really - as the ringer screen is not really my thing - when I need to turn the ringer down it's there on the desktop!) the instability and battery drain are not worth it.

I changed radio from 1.46.00.11 and 1.46.30.11 so maybe that's to blame - but I ssem to be the only one talking about this issue - but I assure you very real - 100% to 60% in 6 hours without using the bloody thing - wifi activated - although this switches off without using the device right? anyway - I'm going back to the fast and stable 3.00.07.08.
It's really the ROM that fits my needs best at the moment for the Trinity (once I modify the splash screens and out on the touch Dialer/pinpad) - Can't wait to try Indigo tho :D I've just got this feeling it's gonna be gooooood. c'mon mUn! But for now PhamQuang and Tom_Codon are producing some rockin ROMs.

So, you think the 1.46.0011 is consumes less battery then the 1.46.30.11?

I never understood exactly whats different about them anyway...

I have updated the wiki ( http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Trinity ) then choose available ROM versions and you'll find it - with links to download the PDAVIETDownloader. You run the Download, select the ROM version and device that you want - and it will download. When you try to extract the rar of the ROM you will need a password: PDAVIET.

Happy flashing:D

Is that an issue only of this ROM, ie, when you mix PDAVIET with radio 30.11?

Or it happens with all other ROMS?

Hello Boys & Girls,

I hear from Tom that girls seem to be more generous donors than boys :)

Apparently the flow of donations has stopped (12 Euro in the last 3 days!!!) what’s going on?!?!

Please remember that Tom did not stop working for us: He is busy EVERY DAY to create better and faster rom's.... Why are we slowing down with donations?

I keep on reading posts of people asking all possible sorts of questions but I do not seem to detect the same degree of enthusiasm on the support/donation side.... could we all make an effort and show Tom that we can REALLY help him to keep the B&B project alive?

Thanks to all of you… and… boyz don’t you want to beat the girlz @ the generosity contest? :D

I bricked my device yesterday trying to flash from .09 to this .10 version, it suddenly stoped at around 11% of updating informing me that image is corrupt!? I was able to manually go to bootloader screen by holding power/camera/reset button and tried again and again but without success, I even tried to flash Olie's new hard spl after but I've got image corrupt error again....

After all this I flashed original WM5 available on HTC Europe site and thankfully unbricked my Trinity.

I have original HTC P3600 and flashed Des's hard spl before, there were no problems with other WM6 rom's I've tried so I really don't know what happened with this pv .10 version?!

didn't have any problems with Des's Hard SPL flashing this ROM - have you tried re-downloading the ROM?

That said, I would recommend .08 version - modified with the pagepool changer that can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=318275&page=11 - post 107 is the fastest and stablest that I have had. However, a lack of changelog in English on this or PDAVIET forums for the PDAVIET ROMs means that I don't know what improvements I'm missing out on.

I know that v .09 to v.10 difference is the MMS fix and also the pagepool size. Now that we have a tool to change that - you could apply the fix, change the pagepool size of your .09 ROM and effectively have the .10 ROM.

No - I've been messing around with the pagepool size on 3.00.07.08 - have increased it to 12M. Less available memory - and maybe a little faster after some use of the machine. Slower to start with then faster response from the OS afterwards. NOt any scientific base for it but....

Still think that the 08 version is better for me than 09 or 10!!!

But seeing as we don't have a changelog....

Also - when I start up PDAVIET ROM Downloader now I get Sorry as choice for device (The server is no longer up).
