Hi
I just upgraded to the official WM6
The strange thing is that everything is ok except that people are unable to call me on the phone. I tested the sim on another phone and it was ok, but just not on WM6. I can still sms or call out, but just no incomming calls. The radio is 1.46.00.11 I have a suspicion that this could be the problem.
Anyway is anyone else experiencing the same problem? And whats the EASIEST way to fix this? This is driving me nuts!?!?!?!
Thanks

Just curious, when you say "except that people are unable to call me on the phone", what does that mean? Do they get your voicemail, or does the phone ring (from their perspective) but you do not hear it actually ringing?
Also, you say you upgraded to the official WM6 rom. Which official one? Be more specific pls. Is it the Australian rom?

i upgraded to the htc official cht rom 3.00.708.9
When others call me now they jump straight into voicemail.
I actually tried ringing myself with another phone and found something really interesting.....
The wm6 device woke up (just like normal when someone called me) and then instead of ringing, it disconnects itself from the gsm network, and then connects itself again. Strange....
mad mad mad mad mad soon...any help greatly appriciated

thanks cmfriend....i tested the phone out with another sim and it works. apparently my phone did not like my sim card. So replacing the sim fixed the problem.
I seem to remember that i left my old sim in the phone when i upgraded to wm6. Was I suposed to take it out when flashing??
Thanks for all your help guys

As far as I know removing the sim during upgrade is not mandatory.
Is the sim of your friend from a different provider?

Had a exactly the same problem (including the wake up/disconnect/reconnect GSM symptoms) with Vodafone NZ - reverting to radio version 1.38 was the only fix.
