I've created this ROM for myself as I wanted it, clean, stable with a good storage. It's mostly based on original Dopod SEA ROM but this ROM is italian not WWE.

I've created this ROM for myself as I wanted it... It's 99% based on original Dopod SEA ROM. I've just replaced all MUI files and checked about 20'000 registry strings to make it fully working... so I want to say thanks to all xda-developers people for the amazing tools and wiki and the guys have done the mui files.

What's change from dopod :

- changed language of course :P
- added One Note Mobile
- removed Acrobad Reader
- removed voice commander
- removed transcriber
- removed all windows mobile tsk
- removed htc media streaming
- removed htc task manager
- removed htc and dopod customizations
- changed default keyboard
- changed default today and dialer with a sexy black one =)
- and some other minor changes...

If you need something of them you can add it manually... for myself I prefer to have the most clean system as possible, if you want to add programs or make a full version of it, feel free to modify this, I don't think I'll make a full version with other programs.

The file contain just the OS no radio no splash no extrom.

it's strange really... wifi works on mine without any problems, what kind of key do u have set in your router? so maybe i can try the same settings with mine... Actually i tried with a WEP Key and no troubles. About SPB Time I can't help, I saw SPB Time isn't listed as WM6 compatible in SPB website, maybe it's their fault.

on my device I'm using 1.46.00.11 because Dopod SEA ROM was born with that radio and I have no troubles with it, but I never tried 1.46.30.11 so I can't tell you what's better and the difference between those.

I don't use extended rom, I flashed just OS... this is my first ROM but I tried to do my best, I think it's a good job and so I've decided to publish it for three reasons :
1) because was a pitty don't share with others so much job and I really hope this rom can be useful.
2) because other people can help me to solve problems and I can have a good rom too ;)
3) maybe someone like this job and I can have back some earn for all hours I spent to do it... it's not the most important but if happens I'm happy ;)

yes, I understood that you mounted only OS in your rom, my question was only if you have idea if the rom is able to enable and show an eventual exetended rom, becouse dopod rom isn't...

yes, I know theese utilityes, and used also, but, htccustom 1.7, and extendedrompatcher, are good to show and write in extended rom, the problem is that the dopod will not install anything into ext_rom...

Unfortunatly it seems that PWM doesn't work properly, but this probably depends on PWM itself. :mad:

I didn't explain more because PWM runs on WM3 and WM5 equipped devices only.

Anyway PWM installation is ok, but tapping on the PWM star the message "MISSING or INVALID LICENSE FILE" appears on the screen.

Obviously I do have a valid license file !

E' possibile avere il cab dell' htc task manager o rimetterlo nella rom? Se metto l' X-button i caratteri di alcuni plug-in della schermata oggi diventano neri e nero su nero non si legge piu'.

It is possible to have the cab of the htc task manager or reintegrate it into the rom? If i put the X-button the characters of some today's plug-in become black and black on black is not readable.

@udK thank you, without your work and some help I couldn't release this rom, so thank you and always a big thanks for all guys that made this amazing tools. I made a ROM as I would like for me and I hope this work can be useful for others and to cook others and better wm6 rom for trinity... I'm still learning about cooking roms so I don't think this ROM is perfect.

However, it's the only rom that I am having problem syncing with my vista ultimate (over USB) not with bluetooth. I have tried mUh, luigi and some english version rom never had problems. Do you have any suggestions?

Found it.. it's under the connessioni usb to pc uncheck the advance settings..

PROBLEM...installed your ROM....and after 1 hour the device lost the SD card...it didn't recognize it anymore....if re-inserted asks me if I wnat to format the card...what can I do? (of course I don't wnat to reformat the sd card).
Also tryed with card export....doesn't see the card either...

i flashed from original WM5...and after i try to install udk and luigi but is the same...only WM5 original work....

but i resolve :-)

if the phone is in level 0 (task 32) the bad sector not sign to bad an roms upgrade write to them bad sector.
only if have leveFF the bad sector signin bad and not useing in rom uppgrade(i read this on bootloader guide)

then oli and des hspl dont escape bad sector and write to them...and white screen.....


to resolve problem download and instal this file

ciao guy ho visto che hai aggiornato la roms "add some pack" di che pacchi si tratta? sono il kaiser e le altre cose che hai linkato?
in questo caso IMHO ora non e' piu una clean rom, cioe IMHO e' meglio lasciare la rom clean e far si che ognuno si installi cio che vuole, oppure potresti considerare di far un rilascio clean e uno full? se non e' troppo faticoso...cioe se installo una roms full mi ritrovo kaisere e magari molte cose che non interessano e non sono removibili quindi bisogna tenersele...
i miei sono solo consigli io ho installato la roms di ieri e ho aggiunto tutto a mio piacimento...so che mettendo tutto in roms si risparmia memoria di archiviazione...pero...beh ho detto la mia....un mio parere nulla di piu...

@fedmex hard reset your device and try the rom clean then install programs and try until you found the problem.. maybe it's something you installed or your ROM isn't installed well :) I don't have this issue.

The speed of the pocket seems doubled. But I have noticed also of the small problems:
When I call the 119 answers the police.
The lateral bars of sliding are too much small.
Messenger not extension the photos of the contacts with which you have conversations in course.
The application QUALIFIES HSDPA is in English.
If you go on FORMULATIONS > LOGONS > LOGONS, the nets are in English.
Is possible to have integrated COMMUNICATOR MANAGER of the TOUCH already integrated within?

I've the same warning with SPB Backup but when i try restore it doesn't work.

lasagna is based on dopod asiatic roms and in asia 119 is a call emergency
there are two way to resolve
1_ simply call +393399119


2_to use the normal 119 for call tim.
take a registrey editor and modify:

LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE/OEM/RIL delete 119 from all string or replace with 113 (3 key to modify)
LOCAL MACHINE/SECURITY/eCall delete 119 from all string or replace with 113 (one key to modify)

close editor wait 1 minute then soft reset

make a backup registry before modify the string

@guybrush you can do an .reg file to add at second post for resolve directly the problem...and eventually you can insert this modify in next release?

Hi and thx for u're really nice ROM, i've only a little problem. I downloaded HTC Home Kaiser b&w , HTC audio manager and comm manger touch style from the link in second post of this thread.
Audio manager and comm manager installed and work fine.
With Kaiser home i have this problem when installing, after a few seconds the installation started this error occour:
"Installazione di FLY - HTC Home Plugin (BW) KAISER ITA.cab non riuscita."
Any suggestion?

thanks but I'll upload only when I feel like to finish it and I think it's ready and I've time to upload it. :) It's not differ so much from 2.02 so you can live with it for a while. 2.0.5 have a different build system so it's more clean than 2.0.2 I've removed voice recorder, changed version of office and fixed some registry values, nothing else. When I'll found a solution to complete the translation of Office I'll upload it, now I want to continue a bit my other projects ;)

@guybrush on your new roms 2.0.5 there are file system or registry changed? because now i setup my p3600 lasagna 2.0.2 with all my program, if i now make a backup then flash with new roms 2.05 the restore backup (make with 2.0.2) then works or i do reinstall and setup all from zero?

i get an error in backup "cant read isoma00000000" this is a your file or file from roms dopod original? but when i restore work all perfect...then not is a problem is only for say what is this file

Per applicativi intendo quelli che lo stesso Guy mette nel secondo post, se lo hai visto.
Per quello che concerne Messanger, il problema è riscontrato su TUTTE le ROM in circolazione: te lo spiego meglio in modo che tu possa capire.MSN se NON ha configurata nel PDA una connessione GPRS utilizza senza nessun problema la connessione WiFi (se esistente ed Up, chiaramente).
Non appena nel PDA biene configurata (correttamente) una connessione GPRS, MSN, nonostante vi sia una connessione WiFi attiva e funzionante, lancia la connessione GPRS per connettersi.

I don't know why , but , when I change tsk , i've alwais problems.
After a lot of tries and changes , I get over the problem and obtain what I want , so if nobody give us more informations about it , try and try , probably you could solve the problem.
Try to put green theme , select it , and after reselect the first one , I don't know why , but in all roms , after selecting it , I solved my problems.

@edkmho it's integrated with ROM it's not a theme, you should change all bitmaps and some registry to have it.

Una buona nuova per tutti colo che usano il "push" in zone coperte da HSDPA (TIM). Il problema che si è sempre presentato (ammesso da TIM stessa) è quello per il quale se la linea dati è attiva in modalità HSDPA ("H") il PDA non può nè ricevere nè generare chiamate in fonia. Nella ROM Dopod, da cui "lasagna" deriva, c'è nelle impostazioni-connessioni l'utility "Abilita HSDPA" che, da quanto ho potuto osservare oggi, risolve, o comunque trova una soluzione di mezzo, alla problematica. Infatti se prima per non avere costantemente il telefono non utilizzabile , (push attivo in zona coperta HSDPA), era necessario andare nelle opzioni telefono-banda, ed abilitare la sola rete GSM, con l'inconveniente però di alienarsi anche la rete 3G, che comunque è comoda e necessaria per chi utilizza molto le mail con allegati, ora con l'utility di cui parlavo si Abilita/Disabilita la sola capacità HSDPA del PDA, mantenendo comunque la rete 3G (UMTS); l'unica scomodità è la necessità del soft reset, invece di un semplice riavvio del modulo telefonico come era sufficiente abilitando/disabilitando la WCDMA nelle opzioni telefono. Comunque, per chi come me sta tutto il giorno col push attivo in zone totalmente coperte HSDPA (Roma), è una gran bella cosa!!!

A good new for all I strain that they use “push” in zones covered from HSDPA (TIM). The problem that always has been introduced (admitted from same TIM) is that one for which if the line given is active in modality HSDPA (“H”) the PDA not it can neither receive neither generate calls. In ROM Dopod, from which “lasagna” it derives, there is in the formulation-logons the utility “Switch HSDPA” that, from how much I have been able to observe today, it resolves, or however means solution finds one, to the problematic one. In fact if before in order not to have constantly the not usable telephone, (push active in covered zone HSDPA), it were necessary to go in the options telephone-band, and to qualify single net GSM, with the disadvantage but to be become estranged also the net 3G, than however is comfortable and necessary for who it very uses the mail with encloses to you, hour with utility of which I spoke enable/disable single ability HSDPA of the PDA, maintaining however net 3G (UMTS); the only one not comfortable is the necessity of the soft reset, instead of a simple one restart of the telephone module like was sufficient enable/disable the WCDMA in the options telephone. However, for who as me it is all the day with the push active in zones totally covered HSDPA (Rome), is one great beautiful thing!!!

yes, 2.0.5 use 4 Megabyte of pagepool. I have an english version of new MMS composer, maybe if I'll release new versions of this ROM i'll translate it.

Guybrush , After a long work day with lasagna 2.0.5 , i can say you that your rom is the greatest!Always fast , very stable no one block!I used a lot of applications useful to my work and all it's ok!
Only one question...I've updated office 2007 in my pc , after upgrade at the first sync , pc asked me if I wanted to install one note mobile on my ppc...Why?Lasagna have one note mobile!

i think not work, or work but with problem, frrom 2.0.2 to 2.0.5 registry string,file system and more are change (see log change in first page)


the only way for a good roms without problem is to reinstall all after flash,
restore backup work fine only on the same roms version

install battery status, is a wonderfull plugins (freeware) show the battery temperature,signal phone in %, consume of battery, and more...

install and see your consume value,
a good value is bettwen 25-35 mA with backlightoff,NO phone on charge,NO phone connected to USB

I have understood the problem. With the Italian Operators Settings the logon to the net remained active, now the values is returns to the normal value.

Ho capito il problema, avendo istallato il cab "Italian Operators Settings" di defoult rimaneva sempre attiva la connessione a TIM. Eliminata la connessione i valori di consumo sono tornati normali (avevo già il "battery status istallato). Il mio inglese è peggio del tuo.

I have understood the problem. With the Italian Operators Settings the logon to the net remained active, now the values is returns to the normal value.

I was waiting for a Official Rom but I can't wait and now I have take decision to install the Lasagna Rom .... naturally only for the name .... I'm Italian from Reggio Emilia near Bologna and I like a lot to eat Lasagna :D !!!!!!!

I have a few question before:

1) To install it i have only to launch the executable????
2) Tom Tom work on this rom???
3) Is possible to have the difference between this Rom and the LSw Rom???

Lvsw , was a great rom , but now it is very old and has a lot of bug , the biggest one is the battery drain.
Lasagna , is 99% dopod based , so it is a tranlation of an original rom with any improvement.More stable , more fast and no have battery drain problem.

P.S. lvsw , is a very Great coocker , but when he cook his last Trinity rom
he can't use an original rom without bug so he has adjust wm6 from another device to trinity.

You must launch only ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
Remember also radio rom upgrade!

No , it isn't...In lasagna205.rar , you have only OS "operative system" and you must only lunch ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
The procedure for upgrading radio rom is the same , you must search it on xda.
I advise Radio rom 1.46.00.11 or 1.46.30.11
If you have gps enabled , now you should have radio rom 1.38.00.11 , radio rom , direct telephone module and gps , so upgrading it you have best performance.

Hi Treephwood :D , your new rom is really fantastic, i love the splash screen too but i miss LeChuck...

My only problem with last version of lasagna is that SMS often disappear after a soft reset and i lose them definitely... it's a big problem for me and it didn't happen with Dopod rom.

Is there a fix for this problem?

An other problem is that changing the default theme, i can't go back to it correctly: up and down bars change from black to grey and there's no solution to this issue, only an Hard reset.

I haven't problems with SMS and I've got summer card so I'm using that much... btw when i have time i'll check that. About default theme it's because some themes changes the BaseHue value and Windows Mobile aren't able to restore it as default for Default theme so you have to modify BaseHue value to 158 as i already explain some post before on this thread.

A lot of people already told it, but I've installed your lasagna just today.
Great rom, lasagna 2.05 seem to be fast and stable. Translation is almost perfect, unbelivable.
Your welcome png is funny too, even if i'm substituting splash screen with an animated one.
Just the voip cab doesn't work well, but that is not in your rom and until now there is nothing better for us...

Added phonepad in package list... it will set Italian as default language, disable phonepad sound and I've also added string to set as default SIP but don't seem to work on WM6 :)
