Slow explorer in Windows directory

My MDA is running the official htc wm6 3.5 software. Yet when i exlore the windows directory, my phone takes an eternity to list the files. I thought this was a wm5 issue?

its an issue in wm6 as in wm5 because of the mass of files that are stored in there.

but i read somewhere that the speed of the file manager was one of the things improved im wm6. If i open the folder i get the wait circle for at least 10 minutes.... surely something is wrong? After all, its just trying to bring back a list of files...

I agree, something must be wrong if it takes severals of minuts to acces your Windows dir.

I use the WWE WM6 v3.7 and it never takes me more than max 5 secund to enter the Windows dir.. and i have a lot of programs installed, so there is many files in the dir...

Maybe you should hardreset your phone? - or upgrade to v3.7 :)

Have you installed any of the touch products - these seem to cause this problem and it remains after uninstall. The touch products are best cooked in the rom and then the problem is not there.

Anyone else have same prob with htc 3.5 wm6?

Hm... interesting on WM5 it was about 2-3 minutes, just now on WM6 it tooks approx <30sec.
Maybe you have rogue apps on your device?
