Error (302): Update Error when updating to XM6r2 on a G4

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to install the XM6r2 version of rom provided by mfrazzz in the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315178
and I am following all the steps as you specified in your first mail, and when I say I am following the steps, I mean, I am doing the base Rom installation from my provider, then Splash screen stuff for G4 users, then Radio rom stuff as you specified in your first post and then I am coming to the step of Installing your XM6r2 rom, but everytime at the end of the installation = after 99%, I am getting the error Error (302): Update Error and then it ask for the recovery.

Can anyone please help me with this problem, I really want to try this rom you provided, also I am quite new to this stuff but since last three days I read some stuff about the roms etc. so I know atleast that my device is XDA mini S is a G4 device because my IPL/SPL is 2.xx.xxx.1.

ROM Ver: 2.21.4.1 WWE
Radio Ver: 02.07.10
Protocol Version: 413.1.03
ExtROM Version:2.21.4.101

If I am doing something wrong please point me out or help me with this problem.

It's normally suggested to install the Wizard Love ROM as a base before upgrading to another custom ROM. There's several links to the Wizard Love in the G4 forums.

thanks man for the idea but it didn't work, seems like no one can help me with this problem, which I dont know why I am facing and it stuck exactly at 99% and then give the same Error.

Any other bright ideas please?

the first problem is solved when I changed from RUU to shell tool provided by mun_rus!

I have a spereate Qs now, may be some of you can help please!

I think i missed 1 step from ur instruction mun_rus gave in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293480

he said after installing the .cab files on the device and reboot he asked to turn off the radio module on the device, can someone please tell me how I can do this, may be this is why I am getting errors like "\windows\timewizard.exe" says cannot execute and I am also unable to access my contact on the phone.

please advise/help, also any other ideas would be helpfull from anyone.
