Hi Guys,
Does anyone know how to add an additional device to the device centre?
I upgraded to Vista and have successfully sync'd my Trinity to the device centre. But when I try to add my brothers device which is the same as mine it wont recognise it at all. There is the usual 'dink' sound when I connect the usb cable but then nothing.
I have tried to delete the partnership with my Trinity and set up a new one using my brothers Trinity but it still wont recognise it.
I never had any problems using Activesync 4.5 and connecting an additional device as a guest partnership, but there is no option to do this with Device Centre.

Cheers!

Is it just me that uses Vista and Device Centre then?

Or has no one had the same problem as me yet?

You've got further than me Mike :)

At least you can get your Trinity connected and recognised. Mine connects but always throws up some sort of error. Thankfully I use an Exchange Server, so don't need the PC connection, but it is annoying. I've tried ALL the advice thgroughout the various sites to no avail, so must be a local problem with my WM6 ROM. The error massages are totally useless as well- at least with the old A/S you would get told which file was causing an error.

I simply don't know the answer to multiple devices with WMDC.

If your brother's device is the same as yours, have you tried changing his Device ID (Start/Settings/System/About/Device_ID) to something else, then see if WMDC recognises it as a different device?

Thanks for your reply!

I will try what you have suggested but I dont think it will solve my problem.

Thanks anyway!
