Hi,
Trying to get Chinese language support on an Atome exec bought in HK airport....Using in hCina with China Mobile simcard and it works fine both in China and overseas ( Japan, Korea etc. )....running windows mobile 6.0 english version.
I installed C-E Star but had the following issue:
I could see the subject lines only in my sms and outlook boxes...when I opened the messages they were blank...when i unistalled CE -Star this fixed the problem but then i can't display Chinese....

Where the heck you get the Window Mobile 6 for Atom Exec ?????
Drop it back to WM5, O2 itself has a .CAB for Chinese support. Just install that everything will do fine. However, that Chinese support does not work well in WM6. CE-Star works in WM6 but Windows Live will not work. It means WM6 is different to WM5 and it will take some time before all bugs to be worked out.

You Can get Chinese character support (reading only) by using the following:
Download CE Star and unpack it with rar program.
Copy sunglobe.ttf to windows folder in your PPC.
Add in the following registry:
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\
add a new key call FontLink
Under the Fontlink Key add another key call SystemLink
Now add the following 4 "String" values to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\FontLink\Sys temLink
[Name of string] [String text]
Times New Roman \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,UniSun
Arial \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,UniSun
Courier New \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,UniSun
Tahoma \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,UniSun
