This mean that this ROM only for experienced users.

Ported from trinity.

XIP-section, drivers and all applications from yours official wm6wwe-rom.

Added MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, FaxView, ZipMobile)

Security OFF for install uncertifyed applications.
Enabled disconnect button and time in GPRS-bubble.

the second is connected: is this rom in german?

my xda terra has already CE OS 5.2.1236 but the built 17741.0.2.1 ... is an update recommended?

Does the romupdate imply a radioupdate? i have already the higher version 02.85.90 ...

This ROMupdate contain only OS, not IPL,SPL,Radio,ExtROM,Splash.

This rom - ENGLISH.

This is because i dont have Herald and haven`t possibility to check workability of this ROM.

Can this be flashed using Asergs methods? I only ask because most roms I have are OS.nb but this file ends in .nba

Hi guys.Its great to be here. k0ster thanks for the work. I got the nba file. Now the problem is how i am going to flash this file to my pda? Do i need to run a windows application. Because i just copy the nba file to my device and its not running. Also how i am going to backup my original rom? ın the case of failure how i am going to load the original rom. Lots of quesitions from a new bie :) Anyway thanks for help

I have renamed it to OS.nb, and used the same tool as PDAVIET has, but after 20 minutes it is still at CopyFileToTFFS(OS.nb:0 , 0, 04400000), is there an solution for this? My PDA is still on now, so i proberly can rollback to a other version, but i want this clean version of windows mobile, not all the crap in other ROMS.

It worked, after 50 minutes it still didn't finished, so i decided to plug of the usb cable and do a hard reset (my pda was frozen), after that i got the bootscreen of k0ster's ROM! It works perfectly, only some minor things i don't understand:

I cannot use the ReTOUCH dialer again, if i install it and restart my pda, i don't get the TOUCH dialer, but only empty images. On the PDA VIET ROM it worked. Anybody idea why this is hapening?

To k0ster: Can you make some changes in this ROM or second ROM? I would like to have standard in the rom that .cab don't get deleted (This is a registery setting). And the Dialer skin etc is working.

Maybe the flashingprocess wasn't finished and you now run your PDA from a "half-baked" flashmemory ...

I'd recover it by applying a WM5 RUU and try to reflash again.

Just a word of caution, anyone upgrading to this rom or any cooked WM6 rom from another wm6 rom should downgrade to a WM5 otherwise you will experience a wide range of problems.

It seems like the rom is okay, but my phone is CID locked so i cannot roll back to Windows Mobile 5 en then upgrade to Windows Mobile 6. This should be working fine (ive upgraded before). Does anyone know a program to customize the rom?

CID unlock is not required if you upgrade using ASerg's method for flashing. Check out the txt file in the attached zip archive, and if you follow EVERY step(including flashing from Guest mode) it should flash without porblems.

AFAIK the pagepool on this ROM was C0 (which is 12MB) but I could be mistaken. Regardless of the PP size it is not that difficult to alter and would be glad to assist you if you are having troubles with Paul's guide at Modaco.

Thanks for the upload. I hope you don't mind answering the process you used to convert the file to .nb format?

Try as I might I can not get this ROM on my phone. IT Write disk error can not find sector or something like that. Just don't understand because I can easily flash any of the PDAVIET ROMS via the Aserg method.

Each time I downgrade to WM5 run Aserg policy cab and soft reset and start process it says it's writing but then after about 6 mins I get ITWriteDisk error.

I remember I had much troubles with formatting the .nba format into .nb. I ended up saving the .nb once I converted it so I didnt have to go through the process again. Tommorow I will convert it again and post the process in this thread.

This all even more frustrating as I had also asked in the Wizard Core Pro Kitchen thread on how to convert from .nba to .nb and anichillus answered that the file merely need be renamed to .nb. Which I had done several times with the .nba file posted by k0ster. Yet every time I tried to flash I would get:

"ITWriteDisk The drive can not find the sector requested" Then I get stuck at the white screen.

Now with your .nb version I still get the same error. So I am starting to just think that my phone does not like this ROM.

Tell me something... I know you cooked your own rom, but between this one from k0ster and the ones from pdaviet, which do you prefer?

Can you tell me the version of ArcSoft SMS/MMS software from k0ster's rom?

You used the Core Pro Kitchen to cook your own rom right?
