They reason you are getting that error message, is because you got the wrong download on your device! You need the all in one 3 parts WM5 download for the HTC Meteor............!(LOL)

See Post number (1) and you will see TWO (2) downloads, one for WM5 devices ONLY! and the other download for WM6 devices ONLY. You can install the downloads to your MAIN MEMORY or to your STORAGE CARD, its your choice. Now whats confusing about THAT! A strong and simple solution!
I know where you have been, because I saw you there (THAT'S WHERE YOU GOT CONFUSED AT THE OTHER MAN'S THREAD) and THEY told you to copy all files to the \Windows\ folder, but I have NEVER EVER told you to do that over here at my thread! You making something simple very hard, first of all what is the {OS} of your device, wm5 or wm6. The download you have chosen is for a certain (OS)! Even if you had the correct device, the way you are installing the download is totally WRONG! If you had the correct device where is step #1, look at post #1, it say 3 PARTS DOWNLOAD! You reboot your device, after all parts have been installed, but I need to know the {OS} of your device! You are doing things that I never instructed you to do! HUMAN ERROR!

I believe you need to reinstall the wm5 Youtube Player download again, here are the instructions, step#1 open in My Documents on your device, you will see several files, that's it step #1 is now completed! Next, step#2 open in My Documents on your device, that's it step#2 is completed! Final step#3 also open in My Documents on your device, that's it step#3 is completed! All you have to do now is soft reset your device! When your device comes back up, go to http://m.youtube.com on your phone's web browser via WIFI and watch mobile YouTube videos in FAST AND EASY, LIVE DIRECT ACCESS, AND BE AMAZED, HAVE FUN...............!

Guy, I owe you an apology, the previous WM6 version that I had up on Mediafire had corrupt files, I want to say thanks to you for making me aware of this and that their was a problem, that has now been FIXED and all the new codecs for enhanced video resolution quality has also been added correctly. As you will see the file is much larger now than before! I'm very sorry about the inconvenience that I may have caused you. I have tested the new software and it's working perfect on all my wm5 and wm6 devices, and via WIFI is the only way it will work, because Edge does not have the speed. Youtube's default accepted video upload is 320x240...they auto re-encode this to 422x320. That's nowhere near HDTV and thats the best you are gonna get even if you download the .flv and run it locally so what you are saying is once again NONSENSE.

WizzStar_Streaming_Media_7.cab is exactly the same as the original RvBCrS_HTC_Streaming_Media.cab, except for the two CAB descriptor files, _setup.xml and HTCSTR~1.000, which simply modded the original author's name, in the "AppName" tag ("RvBCrS HTC Streaming Media").

WizzStar_FlashVideoBundle.Cab_File_Version.CAB is excatly the same as the original FlashVideoBundle.CAB.

This means WizzStar / InterGalactic has NOT modified / enhanced anything, all he does is just pretending to be the author of these CAB files, which is in no way the case.

InterGalactic, could you PLEASE stop doing (C) infringement and start
1. giving the ORIGINAL authors the credits for their work
2. STOP modding their CAB files and STOP removing their original names
3. in general, stop flooding.

All I know is that it works GREAT on WiFi. EDGE is a little too slow. No issue as I have WiFi at home and at T-Mobile Hotspots.

It's hard to beleive there are such tossers around that purport to be experts.

Like someone said, even his "#1" post was so badly formatted, I got fed up trying to decipher it without any paragraph breaks.

Sheesh, I'm even confused about how YouTube might even work over a non-DMZ wi-fi connection..

The world we live in is far from perfect, and this sad little example of just how imperfect it can be.

Well done moderators on banning him, but will this really stop him ? I am sure that he will still claim this work as his own, just not here.

It's not that people are suprised. They're just upset.

The fact that there are people in the world willing to break the rules does not mean that we have to accept it and close our eyes.

When you develop something and you're 'proud' of it and you would like to share it with other people. If some guy decides to copy your work and screams that HE made it, I can imagine that you're not that 'happy'.
