I've just got my second refurbished V1605 (HTC TyTn) back from Vodafone.

Voda install a load of customisation software when you do your first boot. One of the things this does is take away almost all of the useful stuff you can put on the Today screen and replaces it with Vodafone apps. In particular, I like to have my Tasks list on the Today screen, but thanks to the Voda customisation, Tasks no longer even appears in the list of Today items under Settings>Today>Items.

Does anyone know how to uninstall the Vodafone customsation software or is there a registry hack to put Tasks back on the Today screen?

For info, my first TyTn from Voda had this issue. My second one appeared to have a more recent version of WM5 installed (green splash screen with a "direct push technology" logo). On this one, all the usual WM5 Today screen items as well as the Voda apps were available. Now my third TyTn has gone back to the previous version of WM5 and the issue is back. I don't know is VOda are shipping replacement phones out with different OS versions, or whether my second phone had been updated by a user, or whatever, but I don't fancy trying to explain any of the above to the infinite number of monkeys working on their "help" line! :)
