Here are my toys:
(deep breath) 2004 Alfa Romeo 147 5-Door Lusso 1.9JTD Multijet
Bought the 140bhp diesel because it accelerated better than the 2.0 Petrol, and I couldn't afford the insurance on the 3.2 V6!!
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z7/ConfusedStu/AlfaSmall.jpg
But the main toy is the 1996 Yamaha Thunderace:
http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z7/ConfusedStu/ThunderaceSmall.jpg
Spookily, this is 140bhp as well, but goes rather better than the car does!
Apologies for the pathetic pic of the bike, realised when looking for one I haven't got a decent pic. Have to sort that out this summer! :)

1993 Infiniti J30. 171.000 miles on that baby and as reliable as ever. Oh yea, that's my second J30. The first one had a bit of a dishonorable discharge :) something to do with rear wheel drive, a wet pavement and a cement guard rail. Note how my stupidity isn't added to the list :)

Children, children! Play with your cars all you want, I'll still be the one blowing you away from the lights on the bike I bought for £2k. Surely that's like getting a gold plated Nokia and running it up against a Hermes!
Unless it's Midget, of course, not sure I can take him in that mean machine!! :)
Re-read this several times, not sure if it comes across as funny or rude and arrogant. Please take it as funny - that was how it was meant. Not trying to start a flame war, just gently twisting some tails to get some grins!

Or you could be that biker guy who with a passenger mind you, point blank rear ended that stopped SUV in the middle of the street, broke his bike, broke his leg and is going to have a nice insurance premium readjustment.
Or you could be that buddy of mine who has owned the bike for 1 year and already fallen off of it 3 times, causing extensive damage (all repaired) to the bike and is f*&^^%g lucky to be alive today!
Or you can be that neighbour of mine, 23 years riding bikes and gets shoved off the street by some crazy drunk driver. Yea, he's lucky to be alive too...
While I don't want to rain on your parade, I think sitting on a bike is just like sitting on the electric chair and praying for a blackout :) ®
But that's just one fella's opinion.

I've owned seven motorcycles from 250cc to 1800cc, from entry-level standard to open class sportbike to mega-cruiser... I'm lucky to not have had a single accident despite my youthful enthusiasm and reckless abandon. I'm old enough now to be eyeing a Gold Wing...
I currently drive a 1997 Honda Civic DX hatchback with 286,000 miles on it (not a misprint). 286,000 miles, yes... This is how I have spare $ for toys like PDA phones. Not having a car payment is like being freed from indentured servitude.

Currently, I've got a 2006 RX-8 and a 1999 Astra TD Estate, and share a 1993 MX-5 with my girlfriend (who has a Golf too).
Before that, the list runs to about 118 cars, from Citroen Dyane to Porsche and Cadillac.
Most notable cars I've had recently were mad little Toyota Sera EXY-10s, which have dihedral doors - copied for the McLaren F1 and Ferrari Enzo.
And, isn't the Veyron now the fastest road-legal car in the world? IIRC the F1 was 240ish mph in LeMans trim, 231 in original street legal form, and the Veyron is 250 or 254mph. Something like that.
If I could afford a supercar like that, though, I'd be more inclined to have a stable of oddball cars, and one treat for myself - a Mk 1 MX-5 with a six-port Renesis rotary engine from the RX8. No electric windows, no A/C, just 230ish bhp in a car that weighs very little, but feels more solid than a Caterham or Radical.
Ideally, I'd quite like a Mazda Roadpacer with a 20B transplant, too - or even just a Eunos Cosmo 20B. Something which uses the rotary smoothness for luxury - think Mercedes W124, but with a triple-chamber rotary under the bonnet.

But if you're like the bikers up here, you'll have to catch up to me after 40 miles of twisties to actually find some lights to beat me away from ;)
(Laws of physics vs. laws of middle-aged blokes still with bike licences recapturing their 'lost youth' on 180mph bikes = fast in a straight line, but I catch 'em on the corners. Pass 'em, too, if they're not trying to get decapitated by oncoming trucks).

Heehee. When I was 19, I was running an Audi Quattro. Cost £325, fully comp. My RX8 costs £400 fully comp, and that's with class 2 business use and 20K per year mileage (I do more; my Astra beater has now racked up 15,000 miles since I got it on 9th January; the RX8 has done 8,000 in the same period. I think the Astra is better value - £650 for a '99 TD Estate with 79K on the clock, when I fixed the faulty instruments. Seller thought it had been clocked and was refusing to display the mileage ;) ).

well my integra isnt that much of a ricer i guess because I couldnt check to0 many of those little boxes...
what it is, is a 2000 Acura Integra GSR with a d18 v-tec motor, cold air intake and cat back magnaflow exhaust.
Exterior: wings west big mouth body kit, extreme dimensions custom vented from fenders, custom paint job.
It also has an eibach lowering kit with upper front and rear strut bars.
its not really a ricer and it is fact, pretty fast.

Afraid the Unions progressively destroyed BL which was a shame as the 70s were a truly classic era for car styling (except at BL where we had "classics" like the Marina and the Allegro yuk yuk yuk.)
You have a point. Sometimes Unions are a bad thing. And the Marina and Allegro very yuk yuk yuk. Not exactly the high point of 70s car styling. I had forgotten about those, I supposed I had mentally blocked them out.
Though you can't forget the 70s pre-nationalisation stuff. I grew up in the back of a Triumph Stag and a Triumph Spitfire, which I loved. And I would love to own a Stag sometime in the future.
But anywho, how's the saving coming along for the McLaren? :P [McLaren truely kicks arse. Although the Veyron is faster...]

Mclaren saving not going well - pre-ordered a Kaiser so curtains for that idea:D :D
Might have more luck with this classic 70s re-make? (Not British but they gotta be good at something - hellish wallowy suspension springs to mind :) ):

My magnificent 1992 Jeep Cherokee. For the Jeep guys out there, it's got the 4.0, AW4, NP231, and 8.25 rear end, stock except for 30x9.5 BFG A/T KO tires and a junk CD player. No ABS, no airbags, and about 16 MPG. Whoo...

I owned a sil80 before the wrx, the final incarnation had an SR20VET pushing 300 a the wheels. 2JZ is an uncommon swap, I'd prefer an RB conversion.

Yeah I wanted to trade it in because getting anything over 300hp to the tarmac became a real problem for me. Now my wrx is purring away happily with a little over 320 at the wheels. Next mod is installing an STi (or STI as it is now) drive train, I have no need for ABS and would much rather prefer DCCD :D

It's a 4th Generation Honda Prelude....
Wanted one since i was 14 and at 36 i finally get one....
Check out mine below!!
well my integra isnt that much of a ricer i guess because I couldnt check to0 many of those little boxes...
what it is, is a 2000 Acura Integra GSR with a d18 v-tec motor, cold air intake and cat back magnaflow exhaust.
Exterior: wings west big mouth body kit, extreme dimensions custom vented from fenders, custom paint job.
It also has an eibach lowering kit with upper front and rear strut bars.
its not really a ricer and it is fact, pretty fast.
Okay, dude, normally I dont give people shit on the internet, but Im sure as fuck going to give it to you. FIRST of all, its not a D 18, its a B18. D18's first of all do not exist. SECONDLY, D motors came mainly in civics, D motors never once came in an Integra. B motors are all Integras have. THIRDLY, Im assuming you mean B18 then, which, there are many different type of B18's, im assuming once again you have a GSR integra (VTEC), with a B18C1, which, only makes:
* 170hp @ 7600 rpm
* 128 ft·lbf @ 6200 rpm
Now, with your minor bolt ons you have, Im estimating you put down about 155WHP and 115WTQ (To the wheels). And those numbers are being generous. You're talking about a ~16.0 1/4 mile @ 85-90MPH. Not really that fast, but, its "meh". Learn about engine swaps, and consider a Type R swap, or go boost. But regardless, please learn a little more about your car before you post about it.

M35 = 3.5L V6 - 280hp, M45 = 4.5L V8 - 335hp. And x = AWD (normal car is RWD). Sweet car regardless! Note that the AWD system is adaptive so should only direct power to the front when the rear starts to lose traction - not sure if that explains the pulling you are getting?

When at home in Cyprus I drive a Mitsubishi L200 truck, when working in the UK I drive a Toyota Yaris (55 MPG currently unlike the amazing ~28 from the truck lol).
Which part of Cyprus are you from? I live in San francisco, Cyprus and the UK, commuting between the three.
In Cy, I drive XJR. In the uk, its a 1998 range rover and in the u.s a dodge stratus (I know its a girls car, but I like it).
The XJ is the nicest and most fun by a long way, but Im having serious attack of conscience and would love to convert all three to hydrogen

Hi Guys,
Here is my car:-
Its a 2000 Honda Accord V6 Automatic with V-Tech engine, leather interior, cruise control, aircon, electric sunroof, heated seats etc..
I bought it with 24k miles and it now has 48k miles and the only thing that has gone wrong with it was a dead battery 3 weeks ago, so I am really pleased with the car's reliability and of course it's fantastic power and cruise abilities.
I believe that all of these models were built in the U.S.
I would definitely buy another one or indeed a s2000!

Its a first generation(first appeared in the 80's) Alto, but with its 3rd or 4th(cant remember) facelift and revamp. Its sold as the Maruti Suzuki 800 in India, its got a 796cc engine with 38bhp pf pure power :D. We'll its the cheapest car you can get in India, had to save on the car so I could buy the TyTYn2 :D

Im a skeptic. Ive seen that around the net although never really looked into it. Could you post a vid or a graph (dyno) after its tuned. What made you purchase this?
Wouldnt it be better if you just purchase a twin turbo kit from JWT or Stillen or Greedy or Power Enterprises?
Anyways, here's my ride. Its an old pic from last summer. I made some substantial mods during the winter.

Heh heh. We have a mid nineties Ford F-350 at work that we use as the back-up truck when the newer one's are in for service, and it's got the old 460 gas big block in it (the 7.5L). We get 6.5 miles to the gallon in that thing because of the utility bed, duallies and power lift gate. We chuckle to ourselves whenever we pass a Prius in that thing...especially since we work for an environmental program. The irony! ; )

After years of monster vehicles, including several 1-ton dually crew cabs and an Excursion, I now have only 4 vehicles for my wife and I. All 4 are economical. I have a 2008 Honda Civic GX, which burns CNG (compressed natural gas), a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid, a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, and a 2007 Kia Spectra. I like them all, and switch around with the wife from time to time

As for hybrid man, how's CNG treating you? The only time I've really seen that used is in city buses, do you have to have a green diamond sticker on the back of your car like they do? :p haha

Been a couple months since I posted about my car.Decided to do some mods to it and got carried away.Heres a list of the mods I'm in the middle of about 50% done trying to get it finished for HIN in Orlando in July.
No offense meant by this, but I'm not really a fan... Do what makes you happy, but I'd rather start with a car that's quick and make it fast than start with a car that's slow and make it quick. It's made to be a sedan, so it will never handle as well as a true sports car no matter how you modify it.

So I guesss you think the SPV V5 rocket is too much on my drive on lawn mower then?
Mike
Haha well, if you're going to completely redesign the body, it doesn't matter what you start with. My point is, if you put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig. You can make cars like my Z faster than Ferrari's, but if you take the same parts and put them into a Ferrari you'd be pretty close to a space shuttle.
Plus, his car is WWD, Wrong Wheel Drive.

Haha no, I just like my cars faster than a 1.2 (sorry). If I could have any reasonably priced, somewhat environment friendly 4 banger it'd be a Renault Clio with the 197hp 2.0.

You can drive one too, no law against it. Just a little harder to pass, use drive-thru's, and go through toll booths.

A-HA! Now your Username all comes together. Those Z-Cars are good stuff, my brother has 2 86's 300Z's and a 83 300Z. Its almost scary when the lady talks to you. ;)
What do I drive? Not important, I don't spend money on cars, I spend money on Gadgets.

They didn't make a 300ZX in 1983, they were 84-89 for Z31 and 90-96 (in the US) for Z32. 1983 would've been a 280ZX. :P
I had a 1987 Turbo, a 1990 NA, and now I have the '93 TT.
As for the username, I use this name for everything... I used to play Yahoo pool, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I went into a room someone would throw out the N word at me because my name as Black in it... Kinda amusing considering I'm Irish white, not quite close.
