It gives you threaded sms like on the Palm Treos. So basically when you talk to someone it looks like a chat window like AIM or something, good stuff! I am downloading and installing now

I just installed it and there is one problem:
On my device there are like 1500 Messages and it's importing them in Groups of 10. After each group i have to restart to get the next 10.
Is there any way to import all SMS?

yeah, I had to remap the softkey too. I used SKTools to edit it.

Can you let us know what the differences are between this version and your last version of this app?
Any difference between this final and the beta?
Thanks

does this version still have problem of 'recbar.dll missing' when trying to record a sound?
shogunmark
28th July 2007, 03:02 PM
yes, recbar.dll still missing... i forgot about that... but will work on that issue...
I took out the sms softkey cause it gets on my nerves :D i always have to remap that thing, i guess i could always make a quick cab to renable it...
the app still looks the same, but some things that have changed....
MMS send was boosted to 600k.
you can now send mp3's via mms.
if you have a message thread open and that person sends you a message it will now alert you.
thats about all that really comes to mind, im sure my testers that had this can come up with more...

So i'm guessing this is a upgrade. I had a problem with SMS thread when my phone all of a sudden stop receiving text because i guess some went into my old text format somehow and the others i don't know where they went. Any idea if that's been fixed?

Looks the same as the previous version. Unfortunately, the annoying 'soft keyboard overlapping the text entry area' problem still exists. I wonder if Palm will ever fix it ...
Thanks Shogunmark.

this is the actual palm threaded app, it replaces the sms inbox on your phone, and works very well... the messages get stored in a different file in their own format...
ON ANOTHER NOTE, A QUICK WARNING
IF YOU HAVE MESSAGES IN YOUR REGULAR SMS INBOX THESE WILL NOT BE CONVERTED OVER INTO THE THREADED APP.. I WOULD EVEN SUGGEST BACKING UP YOUR CURRENT SMS INBOX IN CASE YOU NEED TO REVERT BACK (ALSO SUGGEST DELETING ALL YOUR MESSAGES IN THE OEM SMS INBOX TO HELP ON STORAGE SPACE)

shogunmark,
Nice release.
Out of curiosity: does your .cab include these files?
htmlnote.dll
mailtrns.dll
mdsmailsvc.dll
MsgMnuExt.dll
MsgMnuExt_enUS.dll
poutlook.exe
tkitapp.exe
tmail.exe
tmailutl.dll
tmarshaller.exe
tpcutil.dll
webview.dll
pimgdll.dll
smstrigger.exe
mailcmdlinehook.dll
The reason I ask is because you're current version installs on my Treo 700wx but it does not take over as the default SMS app, unlike the last ppcgeeks beta 4 version (from the WM5 750 ROM). This has to do with our pre-AKU 2.3 ROMs.
The above files were needed I believe to do this and/or some registry hacks.
Could you verify if those files are included? If not, could you possibly supply them?
tia
--Mal
ps I can also supply the Beta 4 version if you need to compare.

My settings are correct. I checked them. I have uninstalled the original program and installed this one. Maybe I need to do a hard reset? Any suggestions?

(after a HR and a clean install)
my PALM SMS notification is always set to "lowbatt", I'm used to changing it - is that on purpose?
about the key sounds, i have the sound only in the PALM app. as we both know the keyboard sounds are not connected to the sound & notifications menu - it's like it is setup in the app itself, making sound when typing(the hard keyboard and the soft keyboard do it, even closing the messaging app does it(with a task manager not with the X).
I'm really not a novice, it's just wired for me. I always thought you guys like it that way :)
edit:
checked the treo 750 .nbh, they have a plmdefault.wav that they use on the treo - it sounds like a key [ress - i think it's built into the palm messeging app.
can any onn with a WWE WM6 ver check how does their defaul.wav sound like(in the windows path)

Of course I know that ...
, also you have to clear up your inbox prior to installing this software to avoid such issues of ghost sms.
That is incorrect, you only have to make sure you have no unread SMS in order to prevent the TODAY's plugin to display "x unread message" without the ability to marking it as read.
The ghost SMS only happens with the new WM6 version of this apps, I've been running the previous version for a while and never experienced such problem

The vibration setting is in exactly the same place as it was previously - IE sounds and notifications in settings - look for Text Messages (Palm...) and turn on vibtrate there :) there's also the flash light option there but as i don't use it, i don't know if that means the LED or not...

It is the LED's not the flash on the camera!! tested it the other day.
also i have noticed that when i sat my phone to vidrate the call volume goes to zero and i cant hear people speaking to me, so i have turn the volume up during a call which in turn removes vidrate!!
is there a fix for this, i dont know if it is this app or WM6, i think i remember this problem without the App, anyone else experienced this?
Are you running the latest version of PhoneAlarm by any chance? I'm getting that too, and I think it might be caused by that. I'm still using the older stable version of this program and didn't have this problem until recently, so it probably isn't from the Threader.

I cleared out my message box, installed the cab, restarted, try to send a new MMS and it connects with the H, says 0%, then gives me the error:
Message could not be send. An unspecified error (0x50c) occured while sending this message.
I can send a plain text message and receive one. I havent tried receiving a picture message yet.

In one of shoguns threads (#11) he says this:
MMS send was boosted to 600k.
I checked the message I was trying to send and it was 330k, just some text and a standard picture I took with the 8525 camera.
I tried sending another message with a tiny picture that was 60k. This message sent fine and I was able to receive one back.
Is it possible that the file on the rapidshare on post #1 no longer has the 600k limit? Can one of you with an 8525 try sending a message that is at least 330k? As you create the message it tells how big it is.

i have the previous shogun threader .cab and find it neat. i really did not think much of it besides the coolness of having to send txt msgs. like you were chatting..
i was in a boring meeting today and thought id entertain myself by sending txt msgs to buddies. i then found one flaw with the sms threader. when i use either input method (keyboard, letter recognizer) to reply to a msg. the letter recognizer/keyboard covers the msg. screen so i cannot see what letters im pressing/writing.
has anyone have the same problem? will i have the same problem with this current SMS THREADER?
thanks.

The vibration setting is in exactly the same place as it was previously - IE sounds and notifications in settings - look for Text Messages (Palm...) and turn on vibtrate there :) there's also the flash light option there but as i don't use it, i don't know if that means the LED or not...
Smiffy.
thanks worked nicely...
i just wana see if anyone else has this problem, the program randomly chooses a msg i sent and re-sends it anytime i recieve/send messages from/to someone else. apparently i sent 3 of the same msgs to one of my friends today. also, the sorting of the msgs is all out of wack. the first msg was sent yesterday, and then the msgs are sorted by date. its weird.

There are 3 things that made me go back to the original messaging after 5 days of usage.
1. MS Voice Command 1.6.17913 does not read my sms anymore.
2. The soft keyboard covers the text input area. It worked right the very first time, then stopped.
3. The dpad does not go from message to message like before.
Is there a way to fix this? Also, is there a way to assign it to the original inbox button without installing additional 3rd party software?

Is there a version for WM5 that fixes the soft keyboard covering the input area? The last time I tried to use this application I got rid of it because the T9 input I always use covered the entire input area. :(

I have problems sending mms.
Copied settings from poutlook where mms was working. Checked and all was supposed to be right.
It start's sending, but fails after 90% and gives me network error.
SMS is working, but I also like to use lot of mms because it's free for me ;)
I used registry editor to reduce maximum message size down to 300k. If it was bigger the send failed immediatly.
Using Trinity with PDAVIET .10 ROM
My settings in poutlook:
mms gw: 62.142.4.197

send limit: 300k

I got my mms sending / receiving to work. It needed different port number than poutlook.
But but... still got problems.
It is reducing picture quoality too much. I believe it sends them in good quality (sendig takes much more time), but when received the resolution is reduced from original 640 x 480 to 80 x 64. And it is doing this with every picture. Even when whole message size is less than 300k.
So still need to use poutlook for mms.

Tried this yesterday; seems a great application but with a number of bugs needing to be ironed out.
As a Tytn user the ones that need sorting are as follows:
- The virtual keyboard overlaying the message area, which means one can't see what one is typing.
- Only importing 10 messages at at time (already covered elseshere).
- The ability to move a message betwen folders (missing on this app).
There's more but I have misplaced my crib sheet of faults.
Looking forward to using it again once the various bugs are ironed out.

This is a Windows Mobile "version" (actually a rip and repackage) of an application originally written for the Palm (users). Bottom line, it should work fine on your Sprint. ;)

I hope you don't mind shogunmark but i took the liberty of modifying this for use with T-Mobile UK and Orange UK for people over here - I've tested the T-Mobile one and my friend has tested the Orange one and they seem to work OK but if anyone has a problem, let me know (These both also update the left softkey to show "SMS").
Oh, and I've also created a quick cab to put the SMS key back for people that miss it :)

If you were just talking about backing up your messages, just copy the palmmsgv001 file from the windows directory, paste it into the windows directory of your new phone and that's it. If you're talking about converting messages from the original SMS program to work in the threader, I don't know of any threading programs that will do that.

Basically i was wondering if there was an app like PIM Backup which would work with this threaded app, i think this type of txt app is much better than normal, but its only downfall is that there is no Backup application, do you think that PIM backup could be changed to incorperate this?
also that file you mentioned it all of the messages for the palm threaded app?

That's what I'm saying. You don't need PIM backup or anything (though I thought the latest version did it for you anyway?). All you need to do is make a copy of the palmmsgv001 file in the windows directory. It contains all the text messages from that app. Just put that file back into the windows directory of your new phone, overwriting the existing blank one, and all your text messages will be back like they were before. Everything is in that one file.

You can use Pim Backup v2.5 and the "Custom Backup" feature to backup specific files and folders.
I personally backup my OperaMini settings, my Google cache, my PalmMsg001 AND Windows\MMS (because incoming mms message for Palm Threaded app go here) and my mobile favorites for pocket ie. I then set a schedule to automatically back up everything once a day to my storage card.
The archives are saved and compressed in standard zip files (just renamed to .pib) so you can rename them and pull out whatever files you want later.
One note... the list of files and folders gets saved to the registry so I export the registry settings in case I hard reset or upgrade (not that anyone upgrades there rom here at xda-devs though, hehe ;)
Works great and it's freeware... Hope this helps..

I fixed it ages ago and posted a cab earlier in this thread...:)
Smiffy.
really? its fixed? which cab? the only cabs I see from you in this thread are in post #43 and make no mention of any fix of the soft keyboard completely covering the text entry area. (the post only mentions showing SMS on the left softkey) if it is indeed fixed in one of the files "T-Mobile UK Threaded SMS", "Orange UK Threaded SMS" or "Lordsmiff SMS Key.cab" then I'd be so greatful and a big THANK YOU is deserved! The text entry area being covered up is one of the most annoying things about the Palm app.
Other gripes with it:
It treats new (outlook) email somehow differently than the original. they now rarely remain "unread" even if don't open them, and they appear as "read" in my outlook inbox (desktop) as well. Annoying because if I miss an alert, I won't notice new email, because they all show up as "read".
Just noticed this today... I can send and receive MMS just fine, however, I had trouble attaching audio to a MMS today. It wouldn't "see" a recorded audio file when I browsed for it. I wonder if that is a file format thing? Also, when I tried the "record new audio" feature to add audio to my MMS, I got an error about initialization (I think).

Ok, cool. Smiffy, thanks for clearing that up. I seriously thought I was risking a big flame-job with my post, so thanks for correctly understanding the tone in which it was made. :)
So, I'm no developer or anything even resembling one, but really, how hard is something like that to tackle? Again, I know very very little (that is, almost nothing) about programming, but it seems like a feature that is in so many other apps (re-sizing the window when activating the soft keyboard) should be able to be placed into another app pretty easily.
How hard would that be for someone who likes tinkering and takes on stupid projects every now and then to do? What do you need? Where would you even begin?

Ok, I installed this on my Cingular 8525 (stock ROM) and it works very well. I have had no problems with duplicate messages, no problems with MMS messages, etc. BUT, ever since I put this Palm app on, my outlook has been acting really strangely.
I use direct push and get my email through an exchange server. Everything worked/synced fine before the switch. Now, after Palm, sometimes I'm notified of new pushed outlook mail, sometimes I'm not notified. Also, on my desktop outlook, email comes in as unread, but then after a few minutes, unread mail is "read" and not shown as unread any longer. This is very strange. I wonder if it has something to do with the Palm app., but today it did it even when my phone was powered off!
Is this a strange coincidence or is the Palm messaging app somehow messing with my outlook/direct push/exchange?
I made a backup (using Spb) before I installed the Palm app. Can I just restore from a pre-install backup to uninstall it or do I need to go into the registry?
Thanks!

not nearly as robust and easy to use as shogun's (Palm SMS). despite the couple of flaws (one being the onscreen keyboard), there's not another app out there better than this one. it'd be nice to have it cooked into one of the ROMs. :)

Heres my problem - Sometimes when I send a message the program will resend it within the validity period (i've changed it to the minimum, 1 hour) so whomever I send an SMS to will possibly get it 2 - 4 times...kind of annoying.
I'm using vp3Gs 3.0 ROM and radio 1.40. I'm not sure why its doing this but if anyone has any suggestions, that would be swell.

Hey guys, i'm one of these people using a TyTN who had experienced the multiple sent msgs in the beta version. From what I can gather, the bug is still there. Someone mentioned a detail in regards to message validity. Is this a setting that can be tweaked to avoid the multiple sent msgs?
Is there a current workaround? Plans on fixing this bug?
It such a great program and thankyou shogunmark for your development on this application. at the moment, there aren't too many options. I took a look at textr... but it needs the entire app to be running in the background at all times, and runs slowly. I hate programs that steal resources...so as soon as the PALM APP is working without multiple sms being sent... i'm gonna stick the icky WM6 SMS interface.
Thanks guys, would love to hear your opinions and / or tips on resolving this.

The multiple message thing has been discussed several times. It seems to be caused when you send a message then close the app immediately after. If you close the app after it has sent the message but before it's got confirmation back from the network that the message was transmitted, then it'll keep sending it. To avoid this, you can set your device up so that hitting the X-button (or closing it using whatever method you use to close it) minimizes it instead of closing it. This is what I do and I never have problems with multiple messages.

excellent - thanks for the tip man. I'd like to know if anyone else can confirm this also...
Ok, so... just to see if If i'm understanding you....
If i send a msg to a contact, and not close the app for an hour or so..(ie. keep it running for a while in the background - it won't resend...?). What about if i do softreset or powerdown my phone a few hours after sending a a msg.... when i relaunch it, I should be fine...? is that what your telling me?
Also... while i'm asking...would the best thing to do is put it on notification of delivery... and when i recieve that, its ok to then close the app? also, when request notification (ie network sending a msg back) does that usually cost us a msg?
Also, what task manager would you suggest, or can you suggest that allows you to selectively allow an application to stay open, while it closes all others? at the moment, i'm running the HTC task manager.. but it doesn't allow you to customise.
Also, on the mms front, can we still use the old messaging for MMS (to send & recieve), or once installing this app, you are locked into using MMS through palm? i really only want to use this palm app for txt msgs only.
Thanks so much for your help maxh - I'm really looking forward to trying this out once i've got this understood.

You don't have to keep the app open for an hour. All you have to do is make sure that the message was sent. To check this, you have to look in the outbox of this app to see if the message was in fact sent. Once the outbox is empty, you can close the app.
Also... while i'm asking...would the best thing to do is put it on notification of delivery... and when i recieve that, its ok to then close the app? also, when request notification (ie network sending a msg back) does that usually cost us a msg?
This is up to you. If you do what I said above you should be fine with the message getting to the recipient and there should be no need to get a delivery confirmation and you won't have duplicate messages sent.
Also, what task manager would you suggest, or can you suggest that allows you to selectively allow an application to stay open, while it closes all others? at the moment, i'm running the HTC task manager.. but it doesn't allow you to customise.

mvianna's reply has good info in it. I'll add a few things also, though.
I think messages are typically transmitted within a matter of seconds. You can check the outbox, as mvianna said, to check.
I use HTC's X-Button as a task manager/x button and to add a program to the exclusive list, you need to have the program running, then from the today screen hit HTC's task manager icon in the top right corner of your screen, then hit options, then in the "running" tab (which will probably be the one open by default) you'll see "Messaging" which is your palm messaging app. Tap it and a context menu comes up letting you choose "add to exclusive". That's it.
I also use SmartSKey for closing apps by holding the right softkey down and I added the messaging app to the exclusive list on it also.
I also put a link to the messaging app in the startup folder (under \Windows) so that it runs immediately up on starting up. This way I always have it running in the background. I actually did this because on one of the ROMs I ran (Black 2.5, I believe) I would miss messages if it wasn't running when the message came in. It doesn't seem to miss them like this anymore, but I've kept up the habit.
I've never used delivery notification.
I use the palm app for MMS. It seems to be the only choice I have after installing Shogunmark's cab. That's fine by me, though, because it works just fine.

Hey thanks guys for all your info... very much appreciated....
The version of Task manager that came with the WM6 upgrade didn't have the other features you guys were talking about of adding exclusive progs. i just did some searching and found the update and it works a charm.
1 last thing... is there anyway to install this program, and being able to revert the changes (if i'm not happy or if I experience bug crashes) WITHOUT having to do a hard reset? from previous experience using WM5, I did a backup using SPBS backup program, installed palm, and something went wrong, but when I reverted to that backup (prePalm install), it left quite a mess and had to do a hard reset.
does anynone have a .cab or tweak to return the original installed messaging to its natural state... or is this something we can do manually? i'm not too tech savy.
Thanks guys - what a great forum.

i see that i'm not the only one having problems sending mms messages. is there a fix for this? if i try to send a pic from inside the program, i get the memory error referenced earlier in the thread, and if i try to send a pic from the camera ui or directly from the file system, it takes me to the stock message program where the sms/mms option has disappeared due to the threaded app! i really like this little program a lot, but the breaking of mms functionality is really messing me up.
i'm running an att 8525 with some basic wm6 rom, i forget who made it but it's nothing fancy. thanks shogun or whoever can help!

I know this was an issue a while back on WM5, and it was down to the messaging app being closed down (rather than minimised) before it had registered it had sent the message. This made it send the message a second time too. Looking at the post two or three above yours, it makes reference to this again so this might be the culprit.
Personally, I always use an OK button to minimise the messaging app rather than the X to close it (I have HTC Task Manager running) and have never had a double message problem.

You mentioned it works for Sprint. I have Verizon XV6700 (HTC Apache). The program does work, however, I can't send or receive messages. What is the problem?
EDIT: Okay, so I figured, how can the program work, but not send/receive? It must be a configuration. So I checked, and everything is configured for Cingular. Now I need to see what the settings are for Verizon.

I actually had this same issue (see post 146) and was explained in post 149
The multiple message thing has been discussed several times. It seems to be caused when you send a message then close the app immediately after. If you close the app after it has sent the message but before it's got confirmation back from the network that the message was transmitted, then it'll keep sending it. To avoid this, you can set your device up so that hitting the X-button (or closing it using whatever method you use to close it) minimizes it instead of closing it. This is what I do and I never have problems with multiple messages.
I fixed my issue by using HTC-X Button and adding an exception for this program so that when I press the "X" button, the program is minimized and not closed.

i can text using this program but i cannot send or receive mms. when i try to send mms, i get an out of memory error. there is no way that i am out of memory as i have tested it after a soft reset with ~26mb free ram. i should also add that the NBD 9.1 rom has the arcsoft version that combines the sms and mms folders.

Is there anyway to show the date of the text messages, as far as older text messages. It shows the time but as far as the date, all I see are weird sequences of numbers and letters like 2SM9 or 3M9. What do those numbers mean? Is that the storage location?
schlag

That number is based on your short date format, which is set in the registry. The default is am/pm timestamp for today's messages, and date/time stamps for older messages.

The MMS memory error is what happens when you try to send a MMS over 300k. Since the palm has a bunk camera a message and a picture is less than 300k so the app limits messages to 300k. Our camera is a small step up from bunk so a message and a picture is about 330k and too big to send.
There used to be some talk about upping that to 600k but I don't believe it ever was successfull.

Hi there. I've actually been looking for a threaded sms program for weeks now. I was using a treo and missed the functionality but couldn't find a program that wasn't riddled with bugs and annoyances. This one works really well but I have one question that i've only seen pop up once during the entire thread:
once i choose a thread by a particular person (my girlfriend for example) i can't seem to get back to the screen where i can choose another sms thread (my best friend for example). Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm using a tmobile dash with the upgraded wm6 on there. if i restart the program i can choose which thread but i would really like to not have to do that. Thanks in advance, i hope this is just me being dumb =P

I just hit OK (the button or the square at the top right of the screen) and it goes right back to the main page where you can select other chats. This is on my hermes, so the standard version of WM6 on your dash might be at blame.

Hell my wife's Treo750 does it. And it actually came with the program. Its a sofware issue that's not a problem for treos bc of the keyboard layout on the front..

shogunmark,
Nice release.
Out of curiosity: does your .cab include these files?
htmlnote.dll
mailtrns.dll
mdsmailsvc.dll
MsgMnuExt.dll
MsgMnuExt_enUS.dll
poutlook.exe
tkitapp.exe
tmail.exe
tmailutl.dll
tmarshaller.exe
tpcutil.dll
webview.dll
pimgdll.dll
smstrigger.exe
mailcmdlinehook.dll
The reason I ask is because you're current version installs on my Treo 700wx but it does not take over as the default SMS app, unlike the last ppcgeeks beta 4 version (from the WM5 750 ROM). This has to do with our pre-AKU 2.3 ROMs.
The above files were needed I believe to do this and/or some registry hacks.
Could you verify if those files are included? If not, could you possibly supply them?

ps I can also supply the Beta 4 version if you need to compare.
you've got mail!

I guess it was on Schaps rom that I noticed it was working... I remember it happening when I put BlackMajik on... I put Vp3G 3.61 on two days ago so I haven't really looked until now..
I can live with it. But perhaps someone else knows whats going on...
Does seem rom specific.

Will this threaded messaging app work on the NEW at&t tilt? And if so, will the MMS in it work as well?

Yes, both my girlfriend and I are using it on our AT&T Tilts, however the MMS feature doesn't work. We both get the "Out Of Memory Error".

yes, recbar.dll still missing... i forgot about that... but will work on that issue...
It is a very app. However, would anyone give me some tip - how to backup sms under thsi app? It doesn't work with Jeyo. Any suggestion pls?

this has already been discussed. look in \windows\ for PalmMsgV001 and save that file to ur memcard or.. for better use.. use PimBackup2.5 and add PalmMsgV001 as a custom file that way if u backup every day like i do it will always save your newest txts..

Is there any way to get Palm's threaded messaging to work on the Tilt?
I tried the cab from this forum, which sorta worked, but it removed "Text Messages" from the main Messaging app. On the home screen, there were two lines that both said "No new text messages", one would bring me to the main Messaging app and one would bring me to the threaded view.
Also, I could not use the dpad to flick between the three. I could only choose "Email" or "MMS".
I was able to uninstall with no issue, but I would really like to see this work.

The problem that I'm having when I loaded this program, is that I have no more MMS features. The application came with one, but everytime I try to send a pic (no matter what size), it gives me a "Out of Memory" error.
If I could get that fixed, I would be so very happy!
The MMS feature that came with my Tilt has now been removed. I just have email left.
Can someone help?

Are you saying MMS doesn't work, or only when you have the Palm threaded app installed?

Is it possible to go back to normal text message app and import messages from this app to there?

I have installed this and am pleased with the function. Would like to have this added to where I can press the text button and go straight to the program. Thanks to message 84 for reminding me to turn the sound notification on as well.
If someone could figure out how to get the green phone button to power the device on and the red one to go straight into programs--I would never miss my old Treo.

The first message or two I sent seemed to go through fine. The next new message, I started had problems. I would go to the TO field and start to type in the name. It would give me the closest matches and I would choose which number listed for the person to send the message. The phone numbers in pocket outlook would be listed with parenthesis around the area code. I would send the message and then get a message back from at&t stating only 10 digit phone numbers could be used so the message was not delivered. The at&t error message shows the number going out with a 1 added. The error message states you need to use a short code or 10 digit number.
ARGH!
Apparently, I failed to correct the area code after updating. Those within at&t service areas could not get their message with 1 added. Those on different carriers and out of local range could.

I find if I open SMS after I have opening the slide, the font above is very small. However, if I open SMS before opening the slide, the font size is the size it should be. I have to use the slide keyboard since otherwise, I can't see what is being typed.
i was getting so sick & tired of the WM6 default SMS app. This is working good (haven't tried MMS yet). Glad to have emoticons back. :D
Is there a way to increase the Font Size of the threaded messages? New text entered is much larger. Tired old eyes are a-getting strained...
I can't thank you enough for the fantastic work on this!!!

I was reading and noticed that the mms prob has to do with file size. If the image is more than 300k it will not go through.
Does anyone know a way to get the on-screen keyboard to work properly? It hides the input field for me :(
Would there be a way to move the text field to above the conversation instead of at the bottom of the screen (like the IMSMS prog)? That would make this perfect.

I'm getting the out of memory error even though I'm trying to send less than 300k. I'm confused; is MMS just not working through the Palm app or is there some way to configure it so it'll work for messages smaller than 300k?

FYI tried installing the cab from Shogun's site (shogun_cingy_Threaded.cab) and I'm still getting the Out of Memory error when I try to send MMS. FYI I'm using an AT&T Tilt with the stock ROM. Man I wish this was fixed; I love the Palm threaded and would love it even more if the MMS part was 100%.
I also wish I could figure out why my MMS doesn't even work with messages under 300k (hell under 100k) and it seems to work for some others here.
Shogun I have only one suggestion/request. Please start versioning your cab file names so it's a little easier to determine which is the latest version. For all I know the cab I'm using isn't the latest (hell I've tried 3 different ones; first post, shogun's site and treocentral one) and that's why my MMS isn't working.
