data connession edge never stops

hello,

I setup my account on downloading emails every 28 minutes, but once edge connection starts , it nevers end up automatically, but have to stop it every time on the comm manager. Is there a way to setup the herald for automatically stop edge connession when is not necessary so I can save more battery life?

I tried this program, seems to work really fine , automatically turn off edge connection data for save battery life
