I am making the move from Bell to Rogers (Canada) in the next week or so, and having the 6700 now the most logical move is the Tytn.

The first thing that I will be doing is getting this thing updated to WM6. From what I am reading Faria's ROM is the way to go.

What I am not too sure of is going to be how to do this without the carrier instructions. I have flashed my 6700 before, but I think the process is a little different, and I don't want to brick a brand new phone.

This is also my first foray into GSM, and I honestly don't know what to 'expect' when it comes to SIM locking, upgrading, etc.

Sorry of I am rehashing old topics, and thank you!

When you're ready, MrVanx has all the instruction you need. (http://www.mrvanx.org)

Before you do anything Hard-SPL is a must. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722)

This resource thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295751) is a good place to start.
