Dear All,

Is it possible to configure the Tytn to keep the display *off* on
events like receiving a SMS, MMS or while a bluetooth headphone is trying to connecting to it ?

Kind regards,

Davide

So far I've not found a way to do it. Any particular reason why you don't want the display on? If it is because it's in your pocket then you can always get a case to protect the button...

Not sure what other reason you'd not be want to be notified. I suppose you could always switch the device off :D :D

Or you could set the display off timeout to be rather low...

Sorry, I'm not being helpful am I :o :o

Exactly. When the TyTn is in in its pocket case and an event arrives, it is possible that some button can be pressed and some application starts.

This is very annoying! :-)

Ahh, for the button thing in pocket, i've disabled the front buttons on the phone and stuff and have got a hard case for use. No other way around it alas :(
