Need help setting up GPS with google maps

I don't know much about setting up GPS. With the wm6 rom it has enternal gps in the setting menu, so I have google map program but it won't track my location. Is it anything I need change or buy to make it work?

I have WM6 but I don't know how to get it to work. Oh I never notice the camera I haven't use it since the upgrade, I'll try it out.

You forgot to mention you should wait until you're batterypower is down to 50%, try to shake your phone as hard as you can...and if you're lucky (and you have the right type of phone offcourse) it's also possible to increase the storage room on your device

But what about the GPS working on google maps. Is it possible, or I need more software. There are difference com ports which one do you use?

don't worry about them... You need to buy a external gps reciever as the hermes doesn't come with one. thats why it says external gps. telenav has a pretty good one. buy that setup your com ports and then run google maps it should work.

I have WM6 but I don't know how to get it to work. Oh I never notice the camera I haven't use it since the upgrade, I'll try it out.

Now that is some funny shit

The best upgrade I noticed after updating to WM6 is I now pay half price for data usage and the second best reason to upgrade to WM6 is the instant 3 megapixle increase on my camera taking it to 5 mp... cant wait till WM7

You'll need to have an external GPS module for that; the Hermes does not have a GPS. The icon is just for connecting from the OS to your external device. It's worthless without that external GPS module.
