well ive come to let you all know ive quit the windows mobile sceen and moved to blackberry. Too many problems with my dash, 8525, and my htc touch.(i have tmobile) moved on to a blackberry curve and the 8820 builtin real gps and wifi. SO bye and thanks to all you guys help tips tricks you all here are the best at what you do jamerican thanks to you as well. So farewell

i agree yggdrasil it will be hard i do like my blackberry though solid os. True its very boring and not alot of software or tweaks to do but solid non the less. Im going to wait till t-mobile comes out with 3G here in the state of IL when it does You bet your ass Ill be back to the WM sceane hardcore. Just that tmobile does not have much good devices the dash gave me hell of alot of issues but i WILL be back Someday!!
he mchale i sold my 8525 and the touch already only have the dash left if intereseted let me know

HELLO!!!XDA boy you where all rigtht though i had no issues with my blackberry curve 8320, boy was it boring SOOO i went out and bought a tmobile dash again woot!!!

You're funny. If you like to tinker there's nothing better than WM. Did you put 6.1 on it?

no i havent just the the dash again today preloaded with wm6 but dont know cant find a offical tmobile US wm6.1 rom

There is no WM6.1 Official ROM :) Kavana's ROM is best you can flash :)

really that rom is that good?? no issues with it?? what version? ive been out of the loop with wm and dash due to my blackberry so any new tips and stuff would be great thanks again

ill try it btw anything special i need to konw or do?? or any tweeks that need to be done first?? after install is it good to go? i dont need to do anything to the phone before i install right?

I've tried every ROM, every version. The Kanava 14 is the best IMHO. The only tweak you'll need is to make sure you use the right keyboard mapping file (search the kavana thread). Also, find the "PhoneKeyMatch Patch.reg" file. I installed it and it solved the only problem I had: being able to search contacts with z or a.

The ROM is really good.

ok so i found the zip file for the phonekeymatch patch. reg now where is the mapping file im using my dash on tmobile us network english of course also the kanava 080318 Final is the one i downloaded is this the right rom?

I had a Curve 8320. In less than a week, I was bored, unimpressed, and buying another Dash.

BB has crippled hardware, limited tweaks, too much control from service providers, and ugly fonts. Battery life is good, and so are google apps.
