Cingular 8125 to T-Mobile Rom

Okay, I've been searching through the forums for help with this but not much luck. I gave my old Cingular 8125 to my friend and his provider is T-Mobile. I was able to unlock the phone so that he can use his T-Mobile card in it but he wants to install the T-Mobile 2.26 Rom. I thought that since the phone was unlocked, all I had to do was d/l this rom and run the install. So I did this and it wont allow me to install it for some reason.

So how do I install T-Mobile 2.26 on his Cingular 2.25? (IPL and SPL: 2.25, GSM: 02.25.11, OS: 2.25.11.1)

any help at all would be appreciated. I already took a look at the many how to's sticky'd up here and I tried the lokiwiz02b Super CID unlock method thinking maybe if I can get it CID unlocked, I can then install the tmobile rom but it failed. so if anyone has a link or any small bits of info i'd be really thankful :)

Look at the sticky unlock thread in Wizard Upgrading subforum carefully. You need to use Button's 1.05 ROM in order to have your Wizard CID-unlocked.

woot it worked like a charm. thanks for pointing me in the right direction! id already looked at it once but didnt think i had to downgrade to button in order to cid unlock.. so my bad lol
