WM6 this week?

In a reply to an article on the Dutch site www.connexie.nl it says that the HTC Europe Servicedesk announced that the WM6 updates will be released this week.
Could it be true or is it just another rumour?

The reply I'm referring to is the reply by Bart Verhoeve. He writes literally that the servicedesk employee assured him that the updates will be released in week 31.

Strange that on the HTC Europe site you now have to register to download phone updates.

Maybe WM6 is close afterall....

According to my contact at Microsoft , HTC will release the WM6 update on Aug 17

yep the Hermes update came out this week. No sign of the excalibur update though, the last time we heard from HTC they said September.
