This rom is made by Vito(里脊肉) and Annie
. based on Phil's Tornado Windows Mobile 6 ALPHA

removed all debug apps

hi, just flashed...

avail. storage: 16.33mb
total storage: 19.94mb

avail. memory: 23.59mb
total memory: 44.67mb

It also comes with t9 in english and german.
font size is the same as phil's first rom, not small like the chinese roms.

i'll post more difs as i find them...

no offence, but here is a list of bugs that i have found in the alpha version by phill. can you confirm that all of them have been fixed?

if u remove windows update, at least supply it as a cab in the extras folder.

channels don't work.
long pressed side button does not work! it used to start voice note record for the sda and i'd like that to work.

mms.

better camera software. btw htc camera makes the phone SLOW..... not a good one. need an alternate

enable profile switching to silent when long pressing '#' key

default folder for saving pictures on storage card is not my documents\my pictures any more but a lame dcim folder. that would be nice to be changed.

also, sometimes when answering a call, the keyboard stays locked, the call is still on, but the home screen is active and not the call screen.

we need wpa2 for wifi enabled.

also add in the extras folder:
moblue
tcpmp with extra codecs
htc audio manager could be good

and maybe add a good version of opera. not the java one.
we also need a good midlet manager

Upgraded a few minutes ago without a problem.
All looks good, but I will test it further once I copy the contents of my old SDCard to my new 2gb :)
Right now it is lagging due to the file transfer going on.

I tried it and kept getting communication errors.

It would ID the phone ok and the Flash would start fine, but then it seemed like communications were lost after arouind 2 min.

Gave up in the end.

Hardware wise everything was fine....

Great job, but the ROM has problems with MIDI files. Some of them are not recognised at all, the rest are very distorted and played slower that they should be. I also experience occasional problems with syncing (your device is not connected).

all looks good and stable. except for some minor issues: ( of course! it's not yet final!) :D

1. midi files cannot be played.
2. bluetooth settings in comm manager cannot be opened.
3. a little bit of joystick driver problem
4. htc camera already included. not the best one. but doing fine atm.
5. lags sometimes. but tolerable.

I noticed one more bug - calendar--->week view - always shown from 8:30 to 17:30, even if there are appointments in the evening or in the morning. Other views seem to be OK.

loving this Rom release so far, works flawlessly so far with my 2125. Only real complaint is the bluetooth settings dont work so I cant connect it to my bluetooth car kit to test a2dp


EDIT: Ok good news that makes this rom PERFECT as far as I am concerned, if you click on the carrier and time it will pop open the Original Comm manager on my 2125, that menu lets me go right into bluetooth and add a new device...when I get a chance Ill try out a2dp but now that I can at least use bluetooth properly this is a great thing.

This turned my 2125 from a paperweight to a usefull backup to my Dopod C730

it's a very usefull ROM.
For Bluetooth : put the Windows default Home screen,
and click on the WIFI message on the home scree, and you have another wireless Manager : you can open the Bluetooth, I ran a GPSSlim Holux without problems.:)
But my problem is this one: when I change my profiles to Vibrator, it's impossible to return to normal profil !! it's a huge problem.

I have installed the WM6 alpha on my sp5 and this rom works great no need to add extra software!

I have noticed a minor bug on the T9 settings... when you try to change from Abc to 123, the t9 status indicator on the top right corner displays some chinese chracters. Not a big deal.

I have another problem trying to access the internet via gprs settings from my Cingular/At&t network here in U.S.A. I have modified the settings exactly as I used to have them running WM5 (all the connectios are set exactly the same) and there is no way for it to connect to the internet! (unless I use WIFI of course...)

When I try to open a website I always get this message:

"The remote party has ended this connection".

Do you know guys what the problem could be?? Thanks...

Windows Mobile 6 for Tornado Perfect English Edition already change the fonts. Follow the phils instruction for a new install and you get it, may i ask you something, which language are you using?? this ROM contains >english >german > and supose contains chinese too.....

we are on the same side. i really do want to create a more stable ROM out of this. i want a better camera application, comm manager, and remove unnecessary files and apps. comm manager can be accessed thru homescreen by doing some registry workaround.

i tried editing this ROM once using duke stix RK. all went fine but i always have encountered some problems in converting back .rgu to .hv files. if you can come up with a better solution maybe we can work this thing out. :)

i'm not sure what caused it but there's always an error dumping this ROM. PEE doesn't do that. i think these two ROMs are differently dumped or created. :cool:

Tried 4th available rom (cooked by ericjm) and going to go back to fryrice's rom - it's the most stable for my C600!!! :)
