New O2 rom on M650, GPS works!

I installed the newest O2 on my Orange M650 this morning, and I set up my TomTom 6.03, I update the QuickGps with WIFI connexion. AND MY TOMTOM WORKS ! I GOT GPS FIX ABOUT 40 SECONDS.

you're quite lucky. i never get my gps to work with any other roms except orange's. once i got it to work with the b&b v3.7, but that was one time and ONE TIME only. after that, it couldn't find gps device anymore. i suggest you let your new rom running for a few days and try your gps like a few more times and see if it's still there.

Erm... I think most other roms use quickGPS and not Agps?

I've installed on 4 different M650 B&B3.7 or HTC WM5 roms ans the GPS works, you just need the patch...

yes, it's the same thing with me. i always need to install kulbutor's patch before i can get the gps to work again. but without that, it doesn't work with any other rom.

I can confirm that BB 3.7 can not allow all M650 have GPS function normally, and you really need Kulkutor's magical patch (chapeau:)), otherwise, with O2 WM6 you get QuickGPS, no A-GPS( which is only from Orange's Rom), but it is same, perhas different from paying or not your Orange's bill for using A GPS.
