I Installed Dopods WM6 sounds into my 8525. Those ringtones sound so low on my phone as to compared to the ones that originally came with the phone. How can I fix the sound level of these ringtones. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to pull them into a sound editor (a free one such as audacity works well) and do a global +db enhancement on them..typically +5-8db will work..you enhance them to much and you can get "clipping" sounds at high points. Do a google on audacity...runs on windows and linux...probably mac also.

Audacity does run on macs. It is a magnificent free sound editor program. I highly recommend it!

I use this online tool
www.makeownringtone.com (http://www.makeownringtone.com)
It's free. And it's a bit less complicated than using Audacity.
