You could just remove TouchFlo.

If you want your theme extremely black try this tsk inplace of the default one in your rom. I'm currently using this tsk with NBD 8.1. :D

You can use smartskey to change the left button, I will upload a standard version without the Touchflo files.

Nice rom, how do you split the sms and mms so that making a new message won't take two extra steps. I do not use mms at all but I do receive mms messages.

This would be spot-on as i love all the other touch features, but as i said the touch flo is a pain, if i was to put it in a kitchen and just remove the touchflo folder would this work

I am not familiar with the branding of Sprint. Are you sure the Sprint Mogul is the same as the Wizard?

haha your actually right...the A-L and Z-M rows for the red letters are different then what it is...sometimes its one to the left, or really one down...the parenthesis i believe is the only one thats correctly placed haha oh wait and the : and ; symbols.

n00b question. I just recently got the wizard and I've never used this program "GPRS" and I beleive this is the only rom ive seen it on. I've actually been having a big problem. I'm unable to get Windows live or MSN Messenger to recognize the internet (wifi). the browser and weather etc all work but not those two. I dont know why and I need them actually. When I sync up i do see "octaivoi" so i'm not sure if thats the maker's information or what...any help?

Flashed my 8125 works great but some times the touch screen acts odd. I have to press little away from the button to work.
Other thing I noticed is my wireless does not start. Looks like some reg issue.

The classic black ext. was the one I was trying to upload. This would make your black diamond touch rom really JET BLACK. The top and bottom bars will be JET BLACK also, not grey.

that Mogul/Titan (PPC6800)is the new Apache (PPC6700). I am sure you can't put Wizard rom into it.

read the sticky post in the WM6 thread about how to flash your rom. follow directions exactly and read it like 5 times before you try. make sure you figure out if ur phone is G3 or G4 as if u mess that up your phone will die FOREVER

I have one issue with 1.1 I installed MS voice command and it does not announce incoming call though I enabled it voice command. Can you see if you can find a solution for this.

Also In com manger there is no Icon on the Beam did you miss it or by design is it like that.

Other issue I noticed is if you go to soft key then I csnnot get the touchflo back in the today screen. There is no option for it .

First of all i have to say i just flashed the new 1.1 version and it is absolutly amazing. One thing that you might want to do in future releases is that when you go into the touch flow and tap an icon after you "X" out of some of the icons they dont link back to the touch flow cube they go directly back to the home screen. Other than that this the best. Thanks.

Thanks for the great ROM. I was just fooling around with the settings and when i clicked on the softkey application under start>settings, it configured both the soft-keys to 1-calc lite and now i am unable to reconfigure it to TouchFLO as its not in the list.

Can anyone please tell me how to set the softkey to TouchFLO?

Got the solution for that. Just copy the attached file to the Start menu and then you will be able to reassign TouchFLO to the softkey.

ok found a work around. when you select contacts choose outlook contact instead of sim contact.
now it will show the contact name upon getting sms/mms and in the received section

OK, after you press the touchFlo button put you finger in the center of the screen than move your finger to the left or the right. :)

Take a full loop on the cube, then end the cube it will work again without any problem

Yet, today when I updated to your 1.1 rom, it (1st) makes the connect sound [normal], (2nd) says connecting in Windows Mobile Device Center [normal], (3rd) asks me whether to Connect Anyways, or Establish Sync, (choosing Sync, 4th) it suddenly disconnects and says, Drdot (LOL!) whgere the phone was, while displaying "not connected". Therefore, I cannot sync my contacts and calander events.

Delete the lnk file for VistaHide Battery Gauge from \Windows\Startup and it won't launch on reset

I just flashed the blackdiamond 1.1 Rom and then I flashed the Radio 2.19.11 rom. And for some reason the color scheme of my today screen changed to red and I tried to change it back to grey with UI Tweaker but it wouldn't work. What should I do?

Btw, I'm pretty much a noob at all this, so I don't really know a a lot!

This is the best by far. The new HTC plugins and audio manager have killed the need for me to have an ipod. the look is clean, the apps run fast, nice package, so I'd go for it. My only question is about the dialer: I was using NTS's rom before, and on the dialer had a call log with call history and contacts. I don't have that box in this release. Is there something I can do to enable this? Either way, I'm not going back, but that would make this my dream rom.

My battery level was verylow and I didnt realise that it was the battery meter :)


Now I might just leave it like that .

Anyawys , It was good that I came to know that there is a simple option to remove that.

I only have to learn to use the touchflo (not the softkey issue) . Its getting to be more strain to swing my finger across the screen with considerable pressure.

And Also I have got this mobile only yesterday from a traveller. And it is not generally sold in my country.

I am happy to see the live community.

I generaly code in linux.

I have been loading various ROMs from this forum after always flashing back to the T-mobile stock ROM. When I loaded newest 3 Touch-based ROMs, my device starts to roam by default. Does anyone know what causes this or have a solution? Thanks in advance.

I flashed this rom but I dont know what happened it hanged on the boot screen as I reset it myself. After several resets it continues to hang on the boot screen. At last I had to hard reset it and flashed the NBD Rom.

I hope no one else is going through this problem.
Anyways the tools in this rom are immensely useful.

Has anyone using a G4 Wizard successfully flashed this ROM? I am using G4 but could not make it even if I have tried almost 10 times. I used shelltool. The flashing process lasted only around 2 minutes every time which was not mormal(shelltool says the process will last over 15 min) and the Wiz stopped at the 1st screen after a hard reset. Any advice ? Thanks .:)

I have successfully flashed many roms before. Today i was flashing BlackDiamond 1.1 ROM and i was at 92%, My PC restarted (this is my prob). I have done nothing yet on Phone and its still showing 92%(with blue bar). I tried to run update again biut its giving connection error 264. Does this means im bricked (plz. dont say yes). Im in a desperate need of quick help.

Just set the phone in bootloader mode and flashed it again. Ur phone isn not bricked.

press the ON button and meanwhile u have to press the camera button and make soft reset.Then release the camera button and then ON button. Something like that will get the phone in bootloader mode.

I had to try several time with combination of buttons to get in BL mode.

I also think this is an excellent rom.

There's a little (very minor) error i ran into, i haven't done any changing to my phone, but at first, there was a folder in my Programs menu, that had btCrawler, BlueExplorer, and DrYar. At some point, between the first day flashing and the 3rd day after, I noticed that the folder was missing (and i have not done anything close to editing any folders/menus). And there is no link to btCrawler, but BlueExplorer is now in the Programs menu alone with Dr.Yar. --- I can easily put a link to btCrawler but I thought that i should mention this, to see if anyone else had this change/modification? --- I dont know if any other folders were automatically changed.

Just to clairfy, to avoid any possible confusion, I flashed this rom onto my device, and I did see the folder, and used some of the programs through it. Then, i noticed the folder (randomly--it seems) disappeared. (no i didnt flash or edit anything).

That's all. Nothing big.

I just now had this same problem. Right before it occured, I loaded an mp3 in Audio, and a new screen came up saying "progam memory low, choose an application to close"... i selected audioplayer, but it didnt close, the screen came back, and i chose audioplayer again"... after trying some other programs and having nothing close, i just held down the power button. It didnt ask me Yes | No, but instead, just soft-reset. When it loaded up and ever since then (1 hour now, maybe), it hangs at boot screen, and even freezes after a while. I've soft reset this device dozens of times already and this never happened, now there's no fix to this as far as i can tell.

first of all, this is the first custum rom i've installed that's so fast!
all other roms were very slow! it happened that when somebody was calling me I couldn't pick up on time because the phone was to slow to respond!

and I love the touch, maybe you can add the touch button such as in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323227

Well I think there is a newer version of HTC X-Button or Task Manager (whichever the final name HTC would like to name it), I think it's 1.5. Perhaps you can search for it and install it.

Same problem here - been using BlackDiamond 1.1 for a couple of weeks with no problems. Having tried a number of ROMs I consider this an excellent ROM. Had to soft reset this am and since MiniS hangs on the boot screen and no amount of soft/hard resets will shift it. More worrying is that the PC no longer recognises it (activesync) so I cannot even reflash the ROM. ANY IDEAS much appreciated.

Camera button plus soft reset into rainbow screen & activesync back online - reflashed ROM and back online QED!

I meant Wanting BlackDiamond 2.0 in the title......I also have the Mogul and would love to know if this ROM works also. I flashed my 6700 with a similiar ROM and loved the upgrade to WM6 and all the additional features that the "regular" WM6 didn't include. Now that I have the Mogal and "regular" WM6, I want all those features back. If this does work on the Mogul, I owe you a drink!!!! Thanks!
