Hi ,

Finally i success in having the splashscreen for the S300+ :D , only thing which miss to have the original shipped rom for this model

What a pity ..... i have the solution since the beginning !!! i only extract the shipped rom for the hermes/tytn/V1605 which contains so the good splashscreen .....

that will be cool for example for those which loose the original splashscreen after flash another rom :eek:

Currently, I still have the original S300+ ROM provided by SFR (except for the SPL which is replaced by the SSPL of Olipro). The exact radio version reported by windows is 1.29.00.01. Is there anyway I dump my radio ROM so that you can include it into your ROM ?

Also, is there any chance you write a how-to explaining how you managed to reconstruct this ROM ?
I've been reading many threads on the forum but still not enough to manage to do it by myself:)

congratulations extenue. I now have my SFR bonjour splash screen again (even if I am using Indigo as ROM and AX3L's extROM). It's been a long time coming - thank you for your perseverance.

I may try to extract the original Radio ROM (well 1.29.00.11) from a dopod ROM. Can anyone with an original SFR S300+ confirm that the original Radio is indeed 1.29.00.01 please?

That way I may reflash with all the original bits try to reflash original SPL, too and then take it back to SFR regards the black paint peeling problem. The ONLY bad thing about this phone.

Nealed you're right , the original radio is 1.29.00.01 , when you suceeded in put the original SPL , can you post how you dit it ? thanks !

Yes - although that may be some time - as I do not have the original ROM entirely - and generally it would be from a manufacturer's ROm that you can put back the SPL.:mad:

Donc pour info j'ai installé la ROM 3.1 de FAMAN sur mon S300+ et j'ai laissé la radio d'Origine soit la 1.29.00.01.
J'ai quelques soucis avec mon WIFI et je souhaiterais faire la mise à jour de la radio pour voir si ça règle le problème.
Le soucis est que si cette mise à jour ne résoud rien je vais devoir l'emmener en SAV chez SFR.
En ce qui concerne la ROM initiale SFR je vais pourvoir la réinstaller mais pas la radio car elle est introuvable.
Du coup, j'ai peur qu'ils refusent mon appareil en SAV si la radio n'est plus la même.

Donc si quelqu'un sais comment récupéré cette radio de mon tel en faisant une manipulation spéciale je veux bien m'y coller ! (une explication sera la bienvenue étant novice dans ce domaine!)

j'ai tj entendu dire que changer de radio ne changeait en rien la garantie , au jour d'aujourd'hui on ne sait pas dumper une radio

pour les specialistes : je n'ai pas inclus l'IPL / SPL dans ce que j'ai posté

pour les non spécialistes : si le votre n'est pas celui d'origine , ca serait bien de remettre ceux par défaut avant le retour en SAV !

je suis pas fortiche au niveau des ipl / spl , je vais essayer de refaire une rom avec les originaux , je sais pas si c'est possible

Tomorrow I am taking my S300+ back to SFR to have the paint peeling issue looked at. They will send it to the HTC repair centre. I also have a broken stylus and a problem with the LED. My phone has been super CID'd and so I am sending it back with the incorrect SPL/IPL and also incorrect radio.

I don't think that they will check these things - I will post back to let all you SFR S300+ (France) owners how I get on with the SAV SFR.:o

SFR h provides a 15 day repair guarantee. If the phone is not returned from SAV tomorrow - they will replace it with a new one:)

Let's hope with half the country on holiday they haven't been able to repair in time.:D

Got my S300+ back from SFR today - with a new stylus (my original had broken - but I didn't take it back with me. Thank you SFR:)) New paint (or new parts to be precise). When I sent my phone to SFR I had put back Radio 1.29.00.11 (from a Dopod ROM) and the SFR ROM from this thread - thanks extenue.

However - today I received my S300+ back from SFR with ROM Version 1.23.163.2 but the ROM date (Date de ROM:) 02/08/07?)
Protocol Version 32.62.7020.06H
Radio Version: 1.29.00.01

So I think that they must have reflashed or replaced the MB.

Anyway - I'm looking forward to flashing some of the latest ROMs. However - if extenue (or anyone else) can help me extract the RADIO ROM I will be happy to post.:D
