Basic operation:
Press Button1(message) (left side):
- Lift right (or left): turn 3D Cube around
- Lift up (or press End Call): exit 3D Cube
When not Press button Touch Flo:
- At all applications, lift up, down, left, right to scroll
(Ex: Programs, File Explorer, Internet Explorer, Audio Manager,...anywhere had scroll bar)

Same here, doing a flash back to WM5 (original file via SD and boot loader). Once flashed will try install B&B 4.0 and report back. =)

Yeah, the camera works much faster than in 3.7. Great ROM, everything is fine on my P3300. And so much free memory. Fantastic ! Great Work !!!
And it's also great that the music still plays when you power off the display. I just love the 4.0 version.

I second that, this is getting to be a real pain, I understand that this is a very popular device in germany, I mean you did get the first windows 6 out right?. But this young man has been busting his rump all summer long. and believe me when I say ALL summer. he has been really focused on getting the best Rom out there. But for people wanting different versions for there language please, give this man a break. The only reason we have a wwe version is because those are the most released versions out there, I would think the best course of action would be to find a translator, use the tool provided on this site, many many cookers out there, and get your kitchen going,I know Tom would help you in anyway he can, but to drop the whole project back into his lap, no way.
Ask for help, and dont think for 1 minute that your $5 or $20 donation makes you in some way in control of his talent. He is giving from his heart as I am sure you should be giving from yours, and if you haven't given, then thats fine too, but dont be upset when constant request finally give this guy the attitude that It just isnt worth it, and drop the whole project, and no amount of donations will bring back that force that makes him create these roms, Look around here ,there are MANY Talented Cooks who have dropped there projects. So PLEASE BE CURTIOUS.Thanks

I am sorry if you thought I was directing that directly to you, I am speaking in general. no bad feelings here, just making a general statement so people are aware that this is a difficult process and should give Tom a little Room, he release a German beta of 3.7, and that took alot of work, people have to understand he is working alot and he needs some rest, not constant prodding for the next Rom. Please understand this has been going on since 2.0 and will probably continue... Sorry again if you felt I was talking directly to you, you have been very polite. Thanks

Just tried the USPL on my wifes (very) old acer laptop...and it worked first time......

Looks like I can put th blame on MY pc......currently running:
"Windows Vista: NOT QUITE so ultimate edition"

One problem after a reset my com manager looks like this and the only way to get all the buttons back is a hard reset.

Had this problem with one of your previous ROMs and it was fixed by manually installing the comm manager cab.

It it possible to get a download of the com manager you used?

Because most devices are cid locked ALWAYS USE USPL FIRST, this is my opinion and many others, of course its your device, 5 minutes verses sending it in for a week or two, there is no question for me

just notice for everybody after TOMTOM install Button 1 changed for TOMTOM by Software, Everybody must change own wish again.
last but not least TOMTOM auto start wont start. I started directly from cab (what ever no importend)

Okay, I think whenever I push button 1, my touch-flo activates and ends itself at the same time. Basically, I cant get the touch-flo to work.

Hi everyone,

just wanted to post my experience with B&B 4.0: (before 3.7 B&B WWE)

1. HTC Home Plugin didn't work at first time but after Soft-Reset everything was fine (after flashing 2nd time it worked at the first time)
2. Comm Manager also did not work properly at the first flash (only one Button was available) but at the 2nd time it's fine (*Update*: After Soft-Reset, same problem returns)
3. TouchFlo - i don't know if i'm too stupid for it but if i just start TouchFlo from Button1 it seems to start it but i cannot use it... any trick here? (same problem as jontymisra)
4. Enabling/Disabling items from the today screen is just beeing saved after Soft-Reset (i don't think this is the sense :)

Only one comment to be made at number three. I read the USPL topic but I can't seem to find how it actually works. To be specific this is what I have understood.

It flashes your device so it will not check for any CID during a ROM update/flash.
The thing I am wondering myself and maybe even worried about is the following:

This USPL kinda thing, is it just active during a ROM update or is it somekind of hack tool that you only have to one time. Once you've done that no CID will ever bother you again. Not even when you are about to install ten new future ROMS.

I am wondering this as I would rather not have T-Mobile about to find out that my IMEI number (for example) has been disappeared by doing an USPL flash to my device.

Any information on this? What the USPL actually does.

I noticed in v4.0 the GPS is still not initializing, when you switch the cam to GPS mode :( anyone know if there is a CAB of the camera which was included in v3.0? I used that GPS function alot and it was funny on my trips, it's not working since v4.0... :(

Where is Button 1 on my orbit? When i press the "left side" I get the Voice Prompt, and the left side of the screen gives me the calendar.

I got the image file corrupted message when running on XP, a couple of times. I overcame by doing a soft reset, then ran USPL then the B&B. It worked fine.

I like this image because not all programs are installed by default. You can install WM5Storage on your own. IMHO there is no need to integrate it in the baseimage. Not everyone of us does need all this tools :) Just a little search in google will help you find the program!

if you have a frenche htc and that you have installed tomtom, button one will be asigned to tomtom.
Try launching touchflo threw the start menu, the battery status icone will disapear ffrom the top of the screen. Once that happens, swap your finger from left to right or right to left (no need to be too fast) and voila...

It seems like the old bug (crashing with white screen), i think one of my apps could be the wrong.

One problem after a reset my com manager looks like this and the only way to get all the buttons back is a hard reset.

Had this problem with one of your previous ROMs and it was fixed by manually installing the comm manager cab.

It it possible to get a download of the com manager you used?

Those professional software testers, please contribute to help for BB next release. The current testers just play and enjoy their earlier ROM upgrading than others, but did not use professional software test processes and tools.

This is the 2nd post of this guy, and allready blaiming me and accusing me about things I did or did not do!!
What did you allready contribute at this community, at Tom, ar anything at all, except trying to be the smart ass here!?!?

I don't just play and enjoying my earlier Rom... You know how many beta roms I flashed on my device? The early betas wasn't even really usefull at all.
Off course, most of the work was done by Tom!! But the few beta testers, help him thinking about a concept, help him fix the bugs we find etc...

The beta testers put their time and effort in this TOO!! I don't need a thank you from you at all... cause like I said, most of the work was done by Tom... I just help him to make the rom the best as possible... But some little RESPECT from you, isn't too much asking I guess...

If you think, you can do it better, why don't you make your own rom, test it yourself as many times as you want, and release it without ANY bugs to us... see if you can do that, and still be a smart ass!!

I have a n00b-question but is it possible to flash the P3300 from the SD-card? I run Windows Vista at my laptop and for the next few hours I will not have access to a Windows XP PC. So i would like to flash my P3300 in a different way. I read about this but it never worked for me, could somebody help me out here so I can also enjoy Tom's great work and start reinstalling my apps?

Problem solved, the Filesystem of my SD card was wrong so after a re-format it worked fine!
Even iGo works on this ROM because Tom has done a fantastic job with freeing up memory! ThouchFlo seems to work perfect aswell!

Mate during the time that you think that Touch flo is supose to start swipe your finger (press a little hard) it worked for me....Good luck

I have a screenprotector, and no problems at all...
Once activated TouchFlo, you'll see for some seconds an "X" on the right corner above. At that moment just move your thumb from left to right, and you'll see TouchFlo, after a few seconds the X will disappear, and TouchFlo is inactivated. So you need to activate it and immediatly go from left to right over your screen...

*I found out that pressing the ok button closes the app ...but also TouchFlo. So you would have to start it again. Pressing the 'x' doesn't do that.
*Also my sound changes automatically to ringer:( can't seem to change it back.
*Where do contact pictures go when i take them ?

I have a screenprotector, and no problems at all...
Once activated TouchFlo, you'll see for some seconds an "X" on the right corner above. At that moment just move your thumb from left to right, and you'll see TouchFlo, after a few seconds the X will disappear, and TouchFlo is inactivated. So you need to activate it and immediatly go from left to right over your screen...

Just download risidoros midlet manager from xda-developers and install it. I also couldn't install anything to the built in Midlet manager. But nevertheless the one from risidoro is the best.. (works also perfectly with the O2 Wap-flat ;-))

I have one thing that was a problem for me in V3.7 and in V4.0 it still is.

GPS Photo is not working for me.
The GPS is not starting up. No blinking orange led
When i take a picture, it makes on but when i press to show it.
If gives a error

Does somebody knows how to solve it.

Selecting the Internal Mermory does not work.

I think the problem is with T-Mobile Compact 3 or has to do with ARTE110 of ARTE 100.

This is the 2nd post of this guy, and allready blaiming me and accusing me about things I did or did not do!!
What did you allready contribute at this community, at Tom, ar anything at all, except trying to be the smart ass here!?!?

I don't just play and enjoying my earlier Rom... You know how many beta roms I flashed on my device? The early betas wasn't even really usefull at all.
Off course, most of the work was done by Tom!! But the few beta testers, help him thinking about a concept, help him fix the bugs we find etc...

The beta testers put their time and effort in this TOO!! I don't need a thank you from you at all... cause like I said, most of the work was done by Tom... I just help him to make the rom the best as possible... But some little RESPECT from you, isn't too much asking I guess...

If you think, you can do it better, why don't you make your own rom, test it yourself as many times as you want, and release it without ANY bugs to us... see if you can do that, and still be a smart ass!!

I think you've done a GRAND job testing! Well done. To elaborate on what the real problem is though that your friend can't articulate, it is impossible to take a contact photo (from the camera app). It appears to take a pic, but it doesn't save this anywhere (and there is no way to make it save anywhere).

So it's a problem with the camera app, not contacts. I don't really care - just thought you'd like to know what he was on about. No other bugs i've noticed (that includes testing out everything else that others are noting as issues), but it does consume a lot of program memory after a little while "playing". With no apps running it's lost 10MB that i need to soft reset to recover!

Keep up the great work guys! Fantastic effort for all involved!

Is there any way to create, or get icons for the biotouch settings?
I run all my programs of the sd card, but cannot find any icons?!
The only small bug I have found is that if you change any of the programs/features on the today screen, you have to soft reset for these changes to show on the today screen. Other than that this is currently the best rom from all the ones available for the p3300.

when i close applications they don'y really close, i have to close them manually.
I've chosen to end programs through a click on the x-button but it doesn't help.

Neither through clicking the x-button nor by clicking the close softkey i can sucessfully end programs.. Please Help!!

It seems it was my fault for patching the gps when it wasn´t necessary. I didn't really try it before the patch because I thought the patch was necessary. ¿Is there a way I could get back the gps functionality without reflashing the phone again?

thx. You rule! Really. After getting a little nervous about the thouchflo-use (Like always in life a tiny moment counts ;-)) I´m happily after all.

But I have one question: At B&B 3.0 the windows media player was able to play mpeg4 video and audio files. In 4.0 I got an error message (like the mms-issue reported before) Is there a .cab or a place or anything else that should solve this problem ("The source filter for this file could not be loaded.")?

The current TCPMP-Player 0.72 has the same problem (during legal issues)

It´s a timeslot about 2 seconds long.

What the problem? Is the correct button mapped? You don't see a change on the screen (it might flicker a little) but there appears nothing. But ThouchFlo is already started then and ready for use. Check if you can get it to work like this.:D

I switched on the battery status's taskbar indicator. It's an useful feature for me, but the only problem is that i can't change its position in the taskbar, I want to move it a bit left or right than its original position. Is it possible or it's just a dream for me?

I think this bug is non-deterministic, i tried install my programs in a lot of variation, but after some soft reset, the system fails while booting...

Why not install on your own ? I like it, when i can decide which app i want to install and it's not already on the rom. If i want a rom with as much as possible apps i use PDAmobiz amazing Artemis, which is IMHO 'fulltrashed' with a lot of tools...
