Hey everyone,

So I'm new to this forum and I found this quite helpful as I was upgrading my ROM with my T-Mobile MDA from 1.8 to 2.26

Anyway I made everything work fine after getting the error 260 several times but now my problem is when I go into phone mode, the keys are BUTT UGLY. Instead of being the usual windows phone I get the t-mobile scheme thats extremely square and just ugly in general. Is there a way to go back to the windows theme? I already changed the Today theme back to Windows Default but it seems like it didn't want to go back.

Any ideas?

Thanks

EDIT: this ugly touchpad is the same with the guava bubbles as well

Check out some of these dialer skins (http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm).

Here's my personal favorite - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=282570. Unfortunately smart dial doesn't work with it, but if you can live without that...

How did you get around error 260?

I was actually getting an error saying there was a problem with Pocket PC connect or something whenever I tried to do an ActiveSync then I followed a simple task which was this:

-Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Network Cards -> Remode-NDIS Host ->

then put
IP address: 192.168.2.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: (leave blank)

Then I did a soft reset (just in case) and worked fine.

Unfortunately smart dial doesn't work with it, but if you can live without that...

I never even had smart dial before I usually just go by contacts, i disabled it right from the beginning since I only dial numbers when they're not in my facebook.

Thanks xeno1 and newbie2 for your help. I'll try them out
