Any idea how to resolve this?

well mine stuck for random reason. i think i did set the traylaunch to be visible and it never came back

Sync PPC to PC and Run it.It worked fine in my PPC

thanks for this, tom but I need to sync with exchange server remotely using GPRS/EDGE
anyway, seems like i somehow managed to overcome this issue (keeping fingers crossed) by adjusting all date/time, etc. settings gradually as opposed to doing it at once
