I tried installing this one and it loaded the cube but then it couldn't find the touchflo.exe, also the touch screen stopped responding (hardware navigation was fine). I'm going to try installing the Alpha cab first then this one over the top.

Hi, like some others, I have trouble when installing this on my o2 wm6 orbit.

The touchscreen becomes disabled when this cab is installed. Uninstalling the cab fixes the problem.

I'd really like to try the touchflo interface before committing to flashing my rom with 4.0.

People... this is for cooking your own ROM, this is not a self install cab, this is for the more advanced users out there, i.e. not me, and more than likely not most of us here. These are the files that can be incorporated into your roms if you so desire, but if you are asking can i just copy these on my device and have a touchflo enabled device, then these files are not for you either. There are many threads that teach how to cook, your roms, jsut do some research and be prepared to learn some basic code and have about a month to devote to learning something, then allow for about 12 hours a day in front of your pc for a bout a month... or just flash to v4.0. Good luck and please share your Rom with us all. Thanks

Please READ the post CAREFULLY!!
The cab WONT work on your device after installing it!
This is NOT an installation cabfile.
This file is only used for BUILDING your OWN rom.

So stop asking how to make this works... cause it wont work at all!!!
If you want touchflo working on your device, you got 2 options:

1) use this cabfile for building it in your own rom
2) flash your phone with Toms B&B v4 rom

If you don't want to flash your phone with Toms B&B v4 rom and you can't build your own rom, you wont get TouchFlo on your device at the moment.

Yes thats right - the old one needs to go - delete the whole touch.dll folder and contents.

Would it be possible to just extract the touch.dll file from the non-cab version and use it to power the cab version. Because, as i understand it, the cab is just all those files packed up, no? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Edit: Nevermind, doesn't work. Tried, failed terribly. Nothing a little resetting didn't fix.

thats cool, just one question though

I had to edit the initflashfile, so that the exe and lnk goes to the right paths (norwegian) but since there are files with countrycodes like theese:

mxip_APLauncher_0409.provxml
mxip_Biotouch_0409.provxml
mxip_MediaHubMini_0409.provxml
QuickDial.exe.0409.mui

Do I rename them to 0414 wich is norwegian countrycode?

I tried to do that, but my flash got stuck on first bootscreen.
Now im testing without renaming them, I hope that will work out :)

But it will not work, i tried everythink.....also with HTC Home.
Display-touch still disable.

Tryed Touch Flo cube Professional on Treo 750 it did started up BUT tuchscreen NO longer Respond to any tuch !!! not inthe Cube or in Today screen and acry five seconds a massege pop-up saying that file or short cut is missing (somthing like that) HARD RESET returned it to

Dear Friends,

I try to install Touch Flo to my deivce and replace Touch.dll and I end up with touch-screen no respond as everyone have.

So I think Touch.dll is device specific and this file take control over touch-screen of every device. It mean that If you replace it to other device, you will end up with touch-screen no respond.

In my idea, I think we will have to rewrite Touch-Flo program by associated Touch-Flo to another dll e.g., Touch-Flo.dll(This is Touch.dll from HTC touch).
But I don't know "How to do it ?".

I try to search on registry but found nothing. May be we have to explore on .exe file to change that .dll.

Any Idea to share ?

Will this TouchFlo works on SX66 (BlueAngel) as well?

I don't have any luck with HTC TouchFlo (black screen) on SX66. Trying to see if other TouchFlo will make a difference.

Just tried, and the answer is no.
On reboot, it gives the 4 color bar with ROM,Radio version. Then back to 4 color bar and it hangs there.

Have to hard-reset to recover this. :(

Oh well, learn it the hard way.

1. Touch screen not functioning after doing soft reset
2. Mouse pad not functioning

Could not run program

To recover, sync i780, go to Tools, Add/Remove Program, do a Soft Reset
