View Full Version : Pretty Touch Dialer

I took Bennec83's today screen and turned it into a pretty dialer for my phone. I really just dont like the dark dialer. Anyway, you have to copy the files in the zip into your windows directory then soft reset the phone. NOTE: YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH THIS DIALER UNLESS YOU BACK UP YOUR FILES FIRST. I DO NOT KNOW IF REINSTALLING THE TOUCH DIALER OVER THIS ONE WILL FIX IT.

PS. THIS DOES NOT WORK IN LANDSCAPE MODE. I JUST DONT HAVE TIME TO DO ALL OF THOSE BUTTONS AS WELL.... but, who uses their phone in landscape?

Theme is from originally from Trinity and has been slightly tweaked by Pawel062 (great job by the way!). It's probably my favorite look for the phone.

following Pawel062's advice will get you the correct blue colors as he suggest below.

actually that theme is from the trinity rom UDK. and u should have more blue bars. thats a problem u get after going from say windows default to this theme. go to a black theme like htc default then back and ull have the blue bars. the screenshows of that theme are made from my phone and my own cooked rom so they really are from my theme but that aint important. nice dialer by the way. will try it out later!

the number 1 button is missing from the zip file..

Oh you will love this ! :) I did the same thing as you did ! I created my own dialer for touch , but later on i found out there is a much easier way to create such a dialer. Look at here :

@adch: The 1 button is in the zip file it just has "hidden" attibutes. I re-uploaded the file withOUT these attributes. Should make for finding it to be easier.

@hma4: nice work on those dialers! I really just got tired of the stock one. What did you find that made it easier to do? I spent quite a while making each individual button on the one I did. Probalby took me three hours to get them all right.

You can find my psd files too , now it take me less than 5 min to make a new dialer ;)

how about a comm mananger, pin pad, media player skin, audio manager skin, pocket cm skin, and streaming media skin like this dialer. would then make cabs and we can have a great blue iu instead of black touch/kaiser

The Comm manager is actually setup quite the same as the dialer. It wouldn't be al that hard especialy if hma4's method works for this as well. I've never messed with the other skins though. When I had my phone completely "Coordinated," i was using a zombinexus today screen with zombinexus dialer and the nice finger based contact manager by tene' all with the same background.. made for a very nice, well rounded feeling phone.

well for pressed buttons you have to make them individually :( so i just used the original pressed buttons, they are kinda silver ish , but it's still all good :) just try the dialer skin , you will see ;)
and yes you can do the same thing for com manager too ! although i didn't touch mine :) cause I've flashed a new rom which is not touch style anymore
